I just absolutely love this place, it makes me feel like a kid again, so much amazing stock really well laid out store, the staff interaction and display is second to none. This truly is still a retail gem and cements the opinion that physical store fronts are required over online only services. Thank you for the incredible experience, each and every time.

Woah, what a place. Never seen anything like this before, kids toys wise. True paradise for kids and parents! Every toy store should be like this. Kids can play with many things, product demonstrations are really cool, just a bit too commercial. What they do is way too rehearsed and they make sure you either feel guilty not to buy it after demonstrating something or they'll make sure they'll push things in the hands of your kids so you feel bad as a parent to have to pull this of their hands again. If you can handle this, it's awesome to see and experience everything. 6 floors perfectly themed with loads and loads of toys. It's only bizarre hot inside. Especially on the higher floors. Highlight of the vacation for our kids for sure. Prices are insanely high. We managed to leave without buying anything, but just the experience already is worth it!!

There isn't much that hasn't been said about hamleys which I can add, I will say however try avoid with buggy. Myself and wife had 4 yo and 2 yo in strollers and it was a disaster. Way too busy to navigate and the lift system is a mess, 2 lifts are tiny. The whole experience is unbelievable but If you suffer with social anxiety I would STRONGLY advise avoid as is packed to the rafters all day and queue likely at every till and popular toy. Lego is a big attraction and inspires the kid in every adult to create.

Was as wonderful as when I was 5 years old. My son loved the performance before the store opened. Lots of wonderful toys and Teddy's. Lovely staff and toy shows. Has a few surprises with a cafe and handed and gretel ice cream bar. Thoroughly enjoyed it here.

After visiting London a few times my son finally got his wish to visit Hamleys and from his perspective it was VERY impressive.

The sheer size of the store alone put a smile on his face.

But an 11 year old is easily pleased and you can look on the website for the store info.

I consider it my job to tell it like it is.

Before visiting please be aware of a few facts that aren’t so widely advertised.

* Theres every chance you will have to queue just to enter the store.

* The queue is unpleasant, poorly thought out and unpleasantly managed.

* Once inside, the staff are not particularly pleasant, child friendly or helpful.

* The store is NOT interactive in any respect, in fact children are discouraged from touching displays.

* There are no workshops, areas to encourage play or demonstrations in-store.

* The toys are well displayed according to brand, type of toy etc. and they have an excellent range of toys.

* My 11 year old quickly tired of “window shopping” after he had found the toy he wanted and had most fun posing for the
camera next to his favourite displays.

* In summary its not an attraction despite the hype - its simply a large toy shop.

Cool & huge toy store. Crowded but a great place to visit. Has something like 5 stories, each one dedicated for another age or concept. Has Harry Potter store at -1 storey

Well what can I say, this is a kids playground and even big kids at that. It was amazing to see all 6 floors and the lego statues that had been made on pretty much each of the floors. Would recommend to families as it Would be good for the children to see and experience but take plenty of money as I'm sure you'll get something for yourselves at the same time. Staff were very friendly and polite.

Hamleys is a delightful place to visit whether you are 2 or 60.

Its really a visual treat that spans 5 floors.

If your looking for build a bear or Nintendo games or lego to Harry Potter it's all here.

The floor staff are super nice and play with games and toys on the shop floor.

Even the toilets are themed!!!

One of my favourite places is London, 5 stars!
