On the plus side the station is nicely planted with flowers, this is carried out by volunteers, not South Western Railway. If you are using the station in the morning waiting rooms and toilets are available, if you come after 13.00 then they are all locked up, no toilet, no waiting rooms and not even a tap to drink from. On top of this if you're disabled look forward to a hike up to the main road, cross the bridge and then back down to the station if you need to change platforms. Is this really acceptable in this day and age?

Got to the station this morning and there was a delay no train coming through the station at all .The station master on duty was very helpful and the people who were traveling to London he got taxis to Southampton for us at the railways expense so we could continue our journey as it was a long trip can not thank him enough

Semi-well kept, simple station with an indoor part for the colder months, dispersing from me talking about the actual trains that run, the back half could do with some TLC, has looked like a construction site for a couple of years

Pleasant train station , nicely kept. It's not staffed much nowadays. Could do with a cafe. Only access to the other side of the line is via steps and bridge. No ticket barrier. Reasonable car park. Close to bus route but buses not that frequent.

Lovely town, great church, shopping, pubs and history. River walk is fab and wonderful food festival every year. Must visit if you are on holiday in the area.

Countryfied sort of town. Market on a Monday. Harbour. Plenty of pubs and easy access to Bournemouth.
