This station is home to the world’s first reinforced concrete underpass and the station itself is also pleasantly clean.

Norwood Junctions is a large station, which serves the coast, Gatwick, Brighton and London via Victoria, London Bridge and Beyond to Bedfordshire and Luton Airport. The London overground from the station and London tram service near by, this station is clean the staff are willing to help not just for directions but also to save you money on your tickets, so let them know where you are going if you want to make a saving. Remember the train doors close 30 seconds before the train leaves!

It was not so easy to go in between platforms
The station is big but it is a shame that there are no facilities on site such as cafes to buy snacks inside the station or outside the station.

Not a very big station but good links to London and the suburbs, lots of steps to get to the platforms.

This station has 7 platforms platforms 2, 3, 4 & 5 are very narrow so when high speed trains pass through for me it can be dangerous. Also the platforms are very long so there is plenty of room for a number of passengers especially when Crystal Palace FC are at home. Sadly no lifts at this station. But good trains services on the London Overground Southern & Thameslink that all stops here.

Caught this beautiful sight on a quiet Sunday afternoon in spring 2020.

I used to dread the 07:12 to London Bridge 😆

Considering Thornton Heath is the home station for Palace, Norwood Junction should really hold the title! 😅😃
