Chafford Hundred

The chafford hundred train station todays staff was very rude and unhelpful. No one is on the floor assisting when there are issues with the gates, when asked someone siting in the ticket office and chatting with his colleague to help me because the gates wouldn't open they were just sitting there and asking to try other gates, was looking at the ticket for ages, even though I just bought it there, while the train must come in 2 mins. I think they are lazy to do their jobs but expect to get a nice service when they go elsewhere, this is wrong and I think they need improving.

Only one platform in the entire station, and that too for a station that adjoins the busy shopping mall, Lakeside. Trains run between 30-60 mins, which is a very long wait. Not practical at all especially when travelling with family or returning from a busy shopping visit to the mall. Easy place to get stranded at night too, which eventually leads to ordering an Uber.

What’s the point paying for a ticket everyone just pushes through because he is busy chatting on his phone relaxing In the office

Nice little station for Lakeside but i also did notice the security team letting kids push through. Not sure they wanted the hassle or what their protocol is but was keen to keep clear on them on the single platform.

Nice station, but one of the strangest design features (for my standards anyway) I've seen in a train stations is the London-bound ticket barriers in a seperate part of the station to the Thurrock-bound ones. Weird.

Security who works there never does their job. Lots of people travels without ticket, goes agresivelly through the gate they don't do anything. Why am I paying for my ticket then? What is the purpose of you sitting there on the chair and do nothing....

Rude staff, you might as well just skip this useless station, the lifts don't work leading up to the bridge and the staff don't help you, they are just rude and useless and just sit in their office chairs.
