Hersham

its a Shame - there are 2 plateforms with maybe 2 benches each, no toilets, no one to help you if you need assistance. My advise to you would be to travel from/to walton on thames and walk to hersham

Hersham is located in the town with the same name and is used by Southwest Trains. Hersham is a terrible station. Not only does it not have staff, the station is gritty and smells, the station only has two benches on each platform. I recommend using Walton-on-Thames instead.

Bare bones station that honestly feels like it's been built on a strict budget, even for the time period. No step free access or any decent facilities whatsoever, a few ticket machines and only staffing seen are in the mornings.

Seating and shelter are inadequate at best and don't fully protect from the rain and wind which is fun. What a rubbish station.

Lacking in facilities.
No toilets
No access to those that can't make it up the stairs unaided.
Outside of the London travel zones so an adult Travelcard costs £17.90 (Oct 2019)

While understandably not in any way grand, it feels like this station was knocked together as a result of a local 6th form DT project, for a couple of quid.

2 stars because it has a roof.

As far as stations go.. this one has only 1 useful thing which is a canopy.
Apart from that.. no shop, no taxi, no lifts, long stairs.

Have passed here on a train loads of times, looks poor for accessibility and looks like it’s going to fall apart any second.

Please build us a new station. This one is dangerous and dilapidated
