First fleeting visit here. But from what I have seen from walking through the town centre to the station it has some lovely architecture and green spaces. Especially liked the walk along The River Sow with it's yellow flowering lily pads in full bloom. Next time I come I shall be visiting the Castle. Found that the bus drivers and station staff are really friendly and informative. Whereas the cab companies are not helpful at all!

A large station, with plenty of facilities. Lifts available for wheelchair users and staff usually there also most of the day. Free to use cash machine on right hand side as you exit (correct as at Nov 2020). A 1970s style design, not really my cup of tea and aspects seem dark etc. But personal choice I suppose. Clear signage for social distancing and hand sanitisers. Even has a water bowl on entrance for dogs to have a complimentary drink, which is a great touch. Really also like the drawings from.local school children which are all around the station, really cheers me up and great to look at whilst waiting for next train. Kept nice and clean. In my visits found staff to be polite and respectful.

Best train station since it is located in the heart of the UK making trips to each city so easy and fast! The toilets here are questionable but staff are lovely

It's an agreed upon fact that you are not a true trainspotter until you have filmed at Stafford station at least once. You are guaranteed to see a good range of diesel, electric, passenger and freight trains through here and the platforms offer a great view in either direction for filming and photography.
Oh and the station is good too. Shops, toilets, step free access to all platforms and a good amount of services to London, Birmingham, Manchester and Crewe.

Collected my disabled brother this morning. He was met by Steven with a wheelchair and helped off the train, wheeled over the bridge and all the way to our car in front of the station. Steven offered to assist him into the car and was most attentive and helpful, he could not have done better. Such excellent service for which we are all grateful, fully acknowledge and say thank you kindly.
