Leatherhead

When it is freezing cold they prop both doors open in the ticket area, which is the only part with heaters.

Some staff go out of their way to be helpful but one chap in the ticket office wanted to print the ticket before I had even explained which ticket I needed!

The ticket counters are only open until lunchtime

It's an alright station that does feel a bit cramped in some areas but gets the job done to a decent enough standard. Ticket barriers and a ticket office is provided here as well as two car parks on each side of the station and local buses stopping right outside. Subway is a bit small honestly.

Fantastic countryside town with plenty if olives to walk, the town has a small shopping centre/walk and a highstreet. The centre has card shops, pound shops, glasses shops, etc. Covers what you need. The highstreet also features plenty of cafes, charity shops, pubs and more.

Leatherhead also has a market on weekly, I believe twice a week though not sure of exact days. They offer fruit and veg stalls, freshly cooked foods and more.

The river is lovely to walk along and great for photos or a nice stroll. There is also 3 gyms located in leatherhead. anytime gym, Nuffield gym and leatherhead gym.

Really pretty little town . Well worth a visit , it has a lovely High street .

Only one train an hour on the Guilford line at the moment, pretty empty though !
