ISSUE FINALLY SORTED FOLLOWING INTERVENTION FROM THE FRANCHISE MANAGER AT VW COMMERCIALS. STILL NO DIRECT CONTACT OR APOLOGY.

I couldn’t fault the service in completing the sale, it was truly excellent. But there is an issue around a massive discrepancy between the contracted mileage and actual mileage that needs sorting out. I’ve emailed the general manager numerous times to discuss a solution to the issue and get no response whatsoever. I’m fed up and disappointed and really don’t know who to speak to to escalate the matter. I just want a fair solution, that’s all. Would someone please contact me or get the owner of the dealership to call me, please.

UPDATE: Still not resolved even with intervention from VW Commercials. Absolutely disgusting. Not even a response to this review. This has been ongoing since March.

Thank you Christopher Duncan for taking care of us when we visited to purchase our first HGV. You were very reassuring and built our confidence to finally go ahead with the purchase. It was unfortunate that it happened to be just before you took annual leave as we feel that things were missed by the sales team prior to us taking delivery that you might well have had organised if you were there, but we do understand the importance of annual leave.
We hope that we are able to do business again when we are ready to upgrade.

Purchased a VW T6 in February, and the transaction was very smooth, however the aftersales was shocking. Communication and getting back to me was with non-existent, had to chase and chase for weeks to get the leaking windows fixed, and then had to wait weeks for the work to be carried out.

If I didn't chase them, they never came back to me, and when returning my T6 after the work was complete, turned up at the wrong address and without any warning, so had to change plans at the last minute to make sure I was around.

Honestly, the service was as bad as it gets, as they fitted the wrong tinted windows, and after weeks of chasing and getting nowhere, had to give up.....what sort of company looks after their customers like this????

Personally, I wouldn't spend another penny with them, and will be buying the next company T6 from another dealer and will be using another dealer for ongoing servicing and maintenance.

If you can buy the same vehicle from another VW dealer, I would suggest you do.

Highly recommend SMV, this is our second purchase from them. Excellent customer service, nothing is too much trouble. They are friendly, reliable and Gordon makes lovely coffee!!

Bought a used transporter , several problems found immediately, after many phone calls finally got an appointment to get it looked at , only to have the appointment cancelled…still waiting. It will be out of warranty soon. Not that it seems the warranty is worth anything.

Cannot fault the service from Chris and Chelsea from the first quick response to my asking about a car I had seen to the end of the sale getting the car to me and the thorough checks it had really reassured me.

First class service from Chelsea. Been using these guys for many years.
