Kumon Maths & English

My daughter has just begun Kumon. I cant praise Juhi enough. She has helped my daughter with her confidence in maths- and is now enjoying the subject. She has been very helpful and supportive and easily approachable. I would highly recommend the Herne Hill Kumon centre.

We have been using this Kumon centre over the last 6 years and find the centre and the team very friendly, helpful & kind. Our two boys have studied English & Maths since the age of 5. The Kumon approach has really helped our children. It has taught them discipline & we try to practice Kumon daily in our ever busy lives. They haven’t always found it easy but Juhi & Shamsah are very approachable & supportive with any issues we have faced. Our children are now 11 & 8 and we will continue for as long as we r able to.

Juhi and the team run a very friendly, helpful and professional Kumon centre. They give the children lots of care and attention to ensure the best way forward in this very successful programme. It has worked very well for both my children. It is a real commitment of time and energy for both you and your child, but it really does work in the long run. Repetition works. Kumon helped my dyslexic son go from always feeling like he couldn’t keep up with school class work, to performing a year ahead of the class in maths. It set him up for a successful application to a desirable secondary school. Well done Juhi and Shamsah.

My son is aged 6 goes to the kumon centre in Herne Hill and has been going for nearly 4 years. I cant recommend it enough. Shamsah and Juhi is excellent. It is well run and managed and they really look after the kids. My son has progressed all these years. The learning experience has been invaluable and now he also has the confidence and independence to work on his own.

Both my children have been attending Kumon Herne Hill for about a year now and I have been so impressed with the progress they have made. My daughter was having difficulty with her reading and has now become so muh more confident with her reading The programme is simple and easy to understand, if offers consistency and works well around our busy lifestyle. The tutors have been amazing in offering support, guidance and tailoring the programme to meet the specific learning needs of my children. Both my children have very different learning styles however, the tutors have always offered an holistic approach to supporting my children, through followup calls and discussions and continually monitoring my kids engagement with the programme. During the COVID-19 lockdown the tutors were very quick in adapting the classes to provide online tutor support and this was an absolute lifeline for me and my family. I've tried other programs before but I must say this programme has been the most effective and suitable for my children by far. Thank you Juhi and Shamsah for the amazing work you've done with my kids and for your continued support with their learning.

We have been so pleased with our daughter's progress at this Kumon Centre. The system really works and her confidence has improved hugely. The staff at the Centre have created such a positive atmosphere and even during lockdown, they have gone the extra mile to deliver online help and post books to her. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The team at Kumon Herne Hill are dedicated and supportive. Both my children have really improved their Maths and English skills since being there. I highly recommend the centre.

Team is flexible to accommodate online classes.
Juhi is extremely patient to explain him concepts which is usually not easy for child of this age considering he is 2 years ahead academically.
