Excessively long wait 8 hours. No information provided.
Drinks machine, but what about people who arrive without money, waiting area was quite hot.
Difficult to get a taxi to turn out for short journey. Hospital give out list of taxi firms and most are unwilling to turn out for low value journey when contacted

The service attitude is very bad, wait 4 hours, hungry faint, so big hospital have two doctors only? Do you consider how the patient feels? What call emergency? The doctor waited until he was dizzy.

ADMITTED to 4 wards over a two week period. A. M. U...... S. A. U.... WARD 11. WARD 5. Found the Doctors that attended me Brilliant. and the Nurses that looked after me very attentive, comforting and extremely hard working. and
. the food was first class. Edited some of the review. Had to wait two and a half hours to get pain killers one morning after night shift staff were more interested in getting home. I'll still give them 9/10. Fantastic. I returned to the hospital this year in early January with a severe chest infection and was put on Antibiotics again and it cleared up within a week. I was on Ward 5 Bay 8 and found the doctors and nurses very caring the same as they were last time I was there. I won't name theioi nurses or I will be here all night, I found them all very hard working and did a great job of looking after me. The Doctors were Dr Ambu. Dr Habib. (and Dr Jeremy. They were all brilliant, but Dr. Jeremy was absolutely great, there was nothing he wouldn't do for me. I ended up having three more weeks there taking pain killers for a bad back, that is a different story, as I have to go back to the hospital now as they have found four broken bones in my spine and different Doctors did not tell me until I was just leaving for home. I'm afraid I discharged myself from the hospital now I have to return for more treatment. The other Doctors knew for three weeks I had broken bones in my spine but did nothing for three weeks until I was due to be discharged for home. This was when I lost my head and discharged myself. I think I will have to return for treatment..........

Can’t fault the audiology department. Frustrating not being to get hold of them at first. But once I was seen they couldn’t do enough for me. They answered my concerns and took time to help me and speak to me and answer questions. Huge thanks to Byron Mauve and Emily for being patient with me.

My wife had a big op she ended up in ITU north for 2days the staff did everything to make comfortable the care was excellent. My wife went to wd 8 the staff were excellent also the care they didn't stop on the go all the time. I hope they get the pay rise they deserve. The Chairman needs to walk around the hospital he probably gets double the pay the nurses get for part time.

As a rule I would give hospitals 5 stars.
The part of the health board that I'm really sick to the back teeth of is the telephone appointment booking system! It is appalling!
For our Dr's surgery you can write off a minimum of 20 minutes, and the number of times I have sat listening to the awful music that is played only to be cut off after 20 minutes of waiting. The same with trying to make an appointment for bloods. Just now my partner was on the phone for 18 minutes, getting down to 3 one the waiting list, then to be cut off. Why is this happening? Surely they should be able to arrange a decent service in this regard! 😠 😡

My dad (77) has been sat for 22 hours in the A&E waiting room.
Finally got given a bed. Left alone for a further 8 hours in a bed in absolute agony. The worst Internal pain hes ever experienced and not one member of staff has given him any information. No pain killers. He's still waiting to have a scan or to even see a doctor! He hasn't slept for more then 34 hours. This place wants shutting down! By far the worst place in the UK for health care. What a joke you all are. You should be ashamed!!

Don’t know what experiences others have had, but to me the staff was incredibly helpful and professional during my last trip to the ED with my wife.
