I bought a Vauxhall Corsa 2 years ago from this garage. The owner of the sales place put it through an MOT with his regular garage (near Bloomfield Road) and replaced the exhaust and a tyre. Since then, I've had to return with a wiper that has damaged the frame of the front window which he kept tightening the bolt of. Still didn't solve the problem so I had to fix it myself.
Last year's MOT cost me 700 quid as I had to replace the subframe which the mechanic at my local garage described as completely rotten and "like Swiss cheese." He told me that this car must have been partially submerged in water for "a substantial period of time." I also had to replace suspension struts which were rusted and seized.
I have just gone to the garage again today for my second MOT and it has racked up a bill of £1000. Again, seized, rusted and rotten parts on the underside of the garage which a different mechanic suggests is also due to being sat in water for a long period of time. The mechanic told me that every time he went to fix one broken part, another one seized up, including a part in the middle of the exhaust which he had to literally blow torch off! This is coming off the back of a supposed full exhaust replacement from the man I bought the car off only two years ago.
How did these problems not get seen when he checked the car over before selling?
I am absolutely furious and feel betrayed and let down. You put your trust in someone with a large amount of money - I paid £3000 for the car - and you get ripped off and conned. I wouldn't mind if I had had the car 5 or so years but this is only the 3rd year I've had it and had nothing but trouble.
Please, please avoid this salesman at all costs. He appears very friendly and willing to do anything to help but is selling shoddy cars.

Just purchased our second car from Brian & Paul. Two 100% plus genuine people who make sure you are totally satisfied and happy with the vehicle. No pressure selling. Then we have received a date to collect the car as it is M.O.T. & serviced before it handed over to you. What more could you expect

Very good cars .However wouldn't re emberse me for a bad tyre that I had to replace on inspection at home with a slit in it. Said that could have happened any time...meaning no proof I didn't do it..Hadnt noticed at the time of purchase. So disappointed with attitude.Only 1 month into warranty.2 other repairs carried out I would definitely check a car over more carefully next time

Well were do I start and if there were a zero star that’s what I’d score. Purchased a Vauxhall Mokka 65 plate from Brian and Paul. All seemed well until I took it on the motorway. Was told it was a valve issue. Took the garage over 3 weeks to fix. Had car back 2 days broke down again. This time told it was turbo. Another 3 weeks to fix. But from these two major problems came lots of smaller faults masked by the bigger ones. Wipers developed a problem in warranty. They’ve never fixed the problem cost me nearly £300. Since the major works on it there has been a persistent engine warning light on. I keep taking it back to Westcoast garage where the repairs were done. He’s now telling me the catalyst converter had gone and also something to do with fuel line. Churchbarn won’t cover costs although all these problems are linked. My next step is to get an independent report done on car and take them to court. I paid £5,000 and part exchanged two car’s. This place will take your money and sell you a dud car. The Mokka I found out since came from an AUCTION!!!! PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!!! THEY LIE TO YOU AS WELL AND STALL FOR TIME TILL YOUR WARRANTY RUNS OUT!!!!!!!

Bought a car. Had to wait about 2 weeks before I could pick it up. When I picked it up they said there was an oil leak on the gearbox so they fixed it and put a new clutch in while they there. After about a month I noticed a oil leak then the clutch was dropping to the floor. I asked my mechanic and he said it was a master cylinder problem and it was a big job.took it back they said they would fix. Took about a week to fix. After being fix the car stopped in the middle of junction. Told them again then the clutch dropped to the floor again. They said we will fix. This time it took them about 3 weeks (think they were playing for time because the warranty was coming up) guess what after a couple of days the clutch did the same thing. Gave the car back and because they took so long paying back the loan company it affected my credit score.
Just hate being lied to!!!!!!
