Travelled from Essex to the dealership to discuss a car with Pete. Pete was great, very informative, knew everything about the car and was very helpful. He was open to ideas, and provided great solutions really putting the customer first. Even after I decided not to proceed with the car, Pete remained kind and delivered on his agreements.

Peter Price is a great attribute to the garage, assisting me through the process when looking to buy a Mercedes AMG. Although some things did not go to plan on my end, he was understanding and wished me luck. Recommend to anyone looking to buy a car from themselves, and definitely do speak to Peter as he is a prime example of a genuine salesman with knowledge, guidance skills and friendly attitude. Had to take my car to get a new exhaust fitted. Even tho the mechanics was very understaffed, the man (didn't get his name) said he would do it personally.within an hour the car was ready. The mechanic was great. Very happy with the service that he gave. Would like to say thank you to him.

I bought a car in September 2021 from approved cars and finance. They informed me at the time of purchase that there was a second key for the vehicle which they haven’t managed to get from the previous owner yet. They said they would post this to me in the next 2 weeks. After 3 weeks, I rung up and was told there was never a second key and that they never told me there was. Convinced we was told otherwise (with 2 of my family present), I looked through the documents given to me at purchase and found a note saying “2 keys”. They then told me the lady who owned the car was in hospital and they would chase this with her once she is discharged. Fine.
Months pass and after many calls chasing up to be told they would “ring me back” and never would, they eventually said there was no second key. Finally, they arranged a key cut for me after constant persisting.

September 2022, a year later, it came to my attention that I had not received the log book from the DVLA and so the car was not registered in my name. I rung the DVLA who informed me that never received the log book to be registered in my name and it still belonged to this company. I rung Approved cars and finance and again was told they would ring me back, and they never did. I contacted the DVLA and they told me because I have the new slip section from the log book given to me at the time of purchase, I could sort this my end. I printed the forms and sent them off at the post office. Not only was this car not in my name, but because of this my car was not taxed because they could not continue my direct debit as I was not the “registered keeper”. So I was driving, unknown to me, untaxed for a month and the vehicle was not registered mine. Poor customer service throughout.

What a shambles this garage is. Sold me a car with an outstanding recall and warning lights flashing like a Christmas tree. Found out today this isn’t even legal. Makes sense now as to why Mr Price ripped up the piece of papar in regards to the recall. After many attempts to rectify all problems i have been ignored. Taking my issues to trading standards now as these cowboys will never touch my car again. Went in for 3 days this week to just come back with the same problems. Been a nightmare from start to finish. Would not recommend to anybody.

During the purchase of my Ford ranger they promised me the pick up had full service history and said they would email through all documents the next day. I have called and emailed so many times I’ve lost count, each time being promised they would send the documents. I have now given up and can only assume I was fraudulently sold the vehicle as not as advertised!
