Big Motoring World - West Malling

One of the worst buying experiences that I’ve ever had in my 23 years. It’s unfortunate that the profit from the sale of a car is no longer sufficient, but now they are only happy if they also make money from the introduction to their finance broker.

Travelled up on a Sunday after calling beforehand to confirm that I could drive the car away, and I already had my finance in place at 6% APR. They booked an appointment and I got 3 trains from Bristol to pick the car up. I arrived and after 25 minutes looking at the wall, they finally sent a Sales guy over. They told me that I wouldn’t be able to drive the car away unless I took their finance, as they are ‘unable to check their bank account on a Sunday’.

In the end, I had to stay in a hotel, which was paid for by my own finance company, and collect the car the following day.

Please, please, please, read reviews prior to purchasing a car from this place, it’s a terrible reflection on the motoring industry.

One last point, please let me know if you need my assistance with hiring, as I’m a Recruiter. Your Finance lady had a awful attitude and clearly has some issues in her life. Let me know if you want me to find a replacement.

The only good guy in that business is H, the Sales Advisor, but you’ll lose him to a better company before long.

Went in to browse due to having to return my long term lease vehicle. Had a few specifications but was quite open minded as to what I was looking for. Joe Kitts was patient, friendly and helpful. He took his time and didn't rush me, showed me a good variety of cars and when I settled on a car, took his time to find me the best deal available. I was very happy with the whole experience and my new car!

Lovely experience , very smooth and professional! Quick and efficient staff ( we were attended by Sam who explained us everything and guided us through the whole process from the MOT and full history of service till the moment where we made the decision to purchase or not ). Sam was very helpful and accompanied us for the test drive explaining all the features of the car and provided us all the information we wanted to know about the vehicle. No pressure and very respectful. We could see how busy the shop was on a Sunday morning and how well organised the whole process is since the moment a customer walks in.
Everyone makes you feel welcome and everyone knows what they are doing.
All the vehicles are a quality ones and the prices are very good compared with the ones similar available on the market.
On the down side, there was some pressure with the additional packages for the extra protection which is sold by the company and is optional. I felt we had to explain our choice of why opting out and there was no need for that.
The extra protection packages the company offers are great but might be a bit too much for people with defined budget. Other than that, they are excellent if you want to protect your vehicle with some extras.
Overall, it was 10 out of 10 stars and definitely would be returning again in future. These guys are amazing in what they are doing 👏

Whole experience excellent. Welcomed by receptionist and promptly by a sales consultant. Staff attentive with offers of refreshments. Made to feel at ease with the test drive and with no pressure what so ever. Consultant friendly, professional and explained everything well. Understanding with flexibility of deposit and holding amount.
Overall a good experience of our first car purchase with this company, our consultant was Sam.

We can’t rate Big Motoring World highly enough. The staff were great from first visit to collecting the car. Maybe it helped that we knew which car we wanted and had already arranged finance, but that ensured there was no delay in reaching a very good deal and collecting our new car in less than. 24 hours. All the staff were relaxed, friendly and professional (thanks Jamie!). No hesitation in recommending.

I was quite nervous about the whole process of buying a car, but all the colleges made me feel much more at ease. They were friendly and easy to talk to about any worries or concerns I had about getting a new car and I felt the process went well. They are also very good at making great milkshakes and hot chocolates! Sheila who sorted out the final stages of the sale was very sweet and was kind enough to print out all the documents for me. I am now a happy owner of a great car!

We made an appointment to see a car we found on autotrader. The whole experience was very slick and painless (a big scale operation, lots of staff and desks). The sales person we dealt with was cheerful and easy to talk to, he got us a coffee while we chatted. We went on a test drive and having decided to buy the car were talked through the finance and warranty options but weren't overly pressured into adding them. The car was a decent price and has so far turned out to be a good buy.
I would be happy to go back there if I need a car in the future.
