I recently purchased an X5 from this dealer which was advertised as 2 previous owners and with FULL Bmw service history. Well it turns out neither of these facts were true, the log book came through with 3 previous owners as they didn't transfer the vehicle into trade and the service history has been falsified. There is an entry in the idrive for a service carried out at a main dealer, yet the bmw dealer knows nothing about the service and denies it, so I contacted the previous owner(found on a receipt) who advised me he sold the car without full service history as he missed a service and states the service in the idrive was not done when he had the car yet the date of the service is from when he owned the vehicle so its clearly been doctored to increase the value of the vehicle. I contacted the dealer but didn’t receive a response
This is now in the hands of trading standards.

If I could give zero stars I would!! Absolutely shocking! Left deposit for a car on the proviso that it had a new MOT and issues were rectified. Seller had new MOT on the car but after and inspection by an independent mechanic it was deemed unroadworthy and told us it shouldn’t have passed. Dealer now holding our deposit. Contacted Trading Standards who are now dealing with the issue.
Seller is also looking to liquidate the company. Won’t take any form of card payment. Cash or bank transfer only!! Absolute crook who was happy to see us drive away in a potential death trap!! Save your money and go elsewhere!!

Anyone taking this company to court: they are starting to dissolve the company to get away with selling dodgy cars. Please contact “companies house” to stop it before you loose your money forever!
If you haven’t bought from them yet, run as far as you can from this company. Trading standards have been contacted. The sold me a faulty vehicle beginning of june. It went wrong before I made it to the motor way, I called and was told ‘I’m not a mechanic, take it to a garage’. Since then after 3 emails, 4 recorded delivery letters ignored, we are taking this to court. They prey on people, then leave them to have no choice but to struggle with hardly working death traps. They don’t care if this causes anyone harm and distress so please do not make the same mistake I did and go as far from the company as possible. Many of their bad reviews have had the response, that they are unreasonable, but they are not, these people do not care at all, they may aswell just rob you! They are thieves !

Purchased Peugeot 207 2 days ago. I am.9 months pregnant and I told the dealer I was looking for a reliable car for myself and my new born in a few weeks. I will need it to drive to see family who live an hour away. I was sold this car, told there was no issues, had mot but couldn't have a warranty due to age of car and it being part ex. ( silly me not knowing what this really meant) I Trustes and believed I was buying a safe vehicle (my thinking what type of human would sell a vulnerable woman a a broken car?) They sold me the car and I drove it over an hour home. Today I took it to my local family mechanic to have a service and just to check it over for my own peace of mind. To be told I had been sold this car as scrap and there are multiple issues going to cost me hundreds of pounds to repair and surprised I hadn't broken down driving home. I called dealership in tears asking why they has lead me belive it was safe. I was told I signed the contract so not their issue and they hung up on me. It is now in hands of trading standards. How on earth anyone can put a pregnant woman at risk and let me drive away in it is awful. Let alone make me belive it is fine for a new-born baby. Also the car was priced at £1795 to be sold off the forecourt. Yet I paid £1495 as advertised on auto trader, I have no doubt they would have tried to make me pay the higher amout, but it was only because I got the add up online with the price. Awful and really upsetting. Please stay clear of this company.

Beware!!!!! 1 stars is to much

My car was garbage and they would do nothing to sort out issues apart from lie and pretend to fix problems, which they didn’t. Also they never reply to warranty claims even after repeated emails and phone calls

If you buy a car here you need your brain testing if you have one

I have just called Essex Vehicle Sales to have a conversation with them regarding a spares vehicle I recently bought from them, that was advertised on their website with a certain mileage. I purchased the vehicle based on that mileage, looking further to into the history of the car, the vehicle has been significantly clocked by the dealership. The person I spoke to even confirmed on the phone the MOTS show a massive difference. As it is spares and repairs they are not willing to speak to me, however it does not matter they knowingly sold a vehicle that had been clocked at the time of them taking ownership of the vehicle.

Avoid this company, my elderly father bought a car here which has major issues and dangerous to drive, after having the car checked when we he got home by a local garage and main dealer we found it wasn't road worthy and that a dodgy MOT had been put on it to sell. When paying Mike there claimed the card machine was broken and insisted on paying cash, turned out this was so there was no come back (eg credit card claim back) also we checked with Autotrader and the way their advert was worded as PX to clear goes against how the car was sold as spares or repairs (see attached). when i called up to talk through they were abrupt and rude refusing to do anything and hung up phone!

now dealing with trading standards, will remove review if you engage with me about refunding us
