Regal Motors

Recently bought a car from Regal, viewed the car on behalf of my mum and advised then of a few issues with the car. Seemed very happy to resolve these before purchasing, advised they were all done. My mum picked up the car, none of the issues resolved as previously agreed and now the moneys sent over he no longer wants to help. After sales care is terrible. Make sure the car is 100% before you leave the forecourt!!

Well called ask about the VW Touran 7 seater urgently needed and it was well described and in fact when we checked over car and saw it it was spot on all paper work history and service, bonus half tank of fuel a warranty and did us a great deal. I purchased a VW Golf mk4 from Regal Motors a month ago and have found the car to be extremely good value for money and very reliable. The service I received from the salesman Gregory was brilliant, he was very friendly and knowledgeable about the car I bought and also about the other cars I test drove. I was torn between 2 cars and he helped me to make the decision to buy my car even though the other car I test drove was more expensive. I needed a little run around that was reliable and the car is brilliant. I found the service excellent and have already recommended him to a couple of my friends who have now bought cars from him too.

Greg has been so friendly and helpful, I bought my first car from him and he explained the process to me very well and helped me with my finance application. A spark plug went and, even during covid, he got the car to a garage for me asap and kept me updated as necessary. Amazing service, highly recommend

Regal motors is the best car garage I have ever bought a car from. Due to my extracurricular activities I needed a car that could go off-road without being too tall for someone to climb onto the bonnet. The sales chap sold me a very nice Subaru Forrester that has a 4x4 option for the more tricky of country lanes, the lights on it are fantastic for lighting darkened car parks late at night and the air conditioning ensures my windows don’t become too steamed up either. I originally contemplated buying a fiat 500 as they are a hit with the ladies but the salesman pointed out that they have a very small back seat and boot space is almost non existent. Would highly recommended both the Forrester and the car lot too. 110%

Car is good but that's just because its Japanese not because of Regal motors. Went to see two cars, and they said a number of times how they are health checked and serviced so if you try and comment on something you've found be sure to get the "it's been fully health checked". On one car that had been serviced and health checked I found a sump leaking and covered in oil, also the serviced oil happened to be sot black oil resembling old oil but when I explained I was told its not possible its been health checked and serviced. Further when started heard liquid movement which is likely air in the heater matrix, again fully health checked car so... second car I was happy with other than the pool of water in the boot and missing space saver found this was a common issue on the car and I have since fixed. Point is for a health checked car he seemed surprised when I told him about the wheel (suggesting it hadn't been checked properly) and on offering a flat tyre foam kit he failed to ever supply this. I would say value for money just dont trust the health checking side of this dealer.

As a Mark 4 Golf fan, my wife was delighted to find a beautifully preserved example at Regal Motors. When we arrived the car was exactly as stated on Autotrader with supporting paperwork. The service was honest, straightforward and friendly. The car drives beautifully and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy another car from them. Thanks for making my wife a happy Golfer!

If I could put minus 5 stars I would! Somehow he got the car though an mot with broken headlights, told us the car had been serviced even checked the oil countdown on dashboard in front of me, he new full well it hadn't been service because the oil plug was seized and when I investigated further the fuel and air filters were black! Had to change the boost sensor in days and now smoke and service soon all in 6 months he is a lier and a cowboy steer clear!
