Autovillage Gotherington

Purchased a BMW 330i last November the guys at the garage seemed a nice helpful bunch.. But there's one major problem as far as I'm concerned the so called "gold warranty" as far as I'm concerned it's not worth the paper it's been written on... for example No1-February of this year my clutch started to slip so I contacted APA ( The warranty) to make a claim I was advised to take it to Halfords auto centre for investigation I had to pay for diagnostics to my surprise they said the clutch was fine two weeks later it went but as I was away at the time I had to pay for the repairs.. No2 August of this year the water pump failed again APA would not except this claim so £800.00 later I was back on the road.. No3 the engine seems to be misfiring I paid for diagnostics with BMW to prove to APA that I had an injector and ingnition coil problem...At first they made me feel like they were actually going to cover the costs this time but by the time my mechanic had sent them the quote which came in just short of a £1000.00 they have now turned around and said they are not willing to cover the costs but they will pay for only 2 injectors if we can determine which ones are failing but firstly I have got to pay for any investigation costs and they have told me the plugs and cool need replacing first at expense then only they might consider paying for two injectors which cost £440.00 I really don't understand as I was told by autovillage in gotherington unlimited claims and upto £1000 in parts excluding labour.. Sorry to go on about this but it seems like the second hand car industry is full of dealers who are willing to tell you anything just to get a sale... I wish I had said no to the warranty now as I could of gone back to auto village under the consumer act!

Just purchased a 2yr old fiesta for my Mum. Great selection of (quality) used cars. Paul Reed was the salesman (there are two Paul's there) and he was friendly, helpful and not pushy. Would recommend Autovillage - the whole experience was easy and enjoyable (which you can't always say when buying a used car!) and we are very pleased with our purchase.

Have just purchased a car from Paul mac at autovillage . Just have to say Paul is brilliant . Very professional courtious and polite . No pressure applied but informative with a very pleasant manner . Gave me ans to all my questions ( and some I never even thought of ) . Wow great customer service here will definatly recommend to my friends . Everything they promise they came up with . I am extremely happy with the service here and would definatly use autovillage gotherington again.
If you want value professionalism and great service use this garage ( and ask for Paul mac ) .

Great service and my car passed its MOT

Just bought my very first mini clubman from this company. Gorgeous little car , love it. Extremely friendly guys there .made me feel at ease , comfortable. Part exchanged a subaru and they gave me what i wanted for this car. Very happy indeed . Half a tank of fuel also to get me home as id traveled 3 hour drive to find this lovely mini
.they have a lovely selection of cars , so please give this company a thought .

purchased car, paid top dollar which was my choice sales staff pleasant. Just hope you don't have any problems with the vehicle, the "warranty" has no real value whatsoever and whilst it was suggested the vehicle be taken to Cheltenham to be rectified I would lose the use of the car for anywhere between 3 and15 weeks. Beware.

Nice people to deal with and they actually ring you to explain things. More competitive than the dealerships by at least a third.

Found a great family car at a reasonable price. Service was reliable and helpful.
