Alan is a nice person to do business with. He was very helpful in answering any queries, and his description of my car was accurate and complete. The car was ready for me to collect on time, fully prepared as promised and the purchase process was straightforward.

We had planned on visiting to view a car that we saw online. The intended trip was around 130 miles, but while on our way we found a suitable vehicle closer to us so decided against travelling to Sutton to view the car we originally planned to see.

We phoned up and couldn't have been more pleased with the level of class and professionalism of the customer service we received. They were completely understanding of our situation and wished us well with our search even though it didn't involve their company.

We were also very impressed with the Youtube video that was filmed of the car. It was very thorough and the creator was upfront and honest about any imperfections the car had which seems like a rarity these days.

Unfortunately we couldn't make a purchase with JA Autos this time, but I'd highly recommend them to anyone who's considering it!

I don’t know anything about cars. Well, I know the basics that they need to go forwards, backwards, and are as cheap to run as possible. But the most important thing for me though is that the car is safe and as reliable as possible. As I always buy second cars, as new ones lose so much in value so quickly, when I do have to buy a car the essential thing for me is who I am buying it from. I think a lot of people think like this, especially when there are lots of people selling cars who are not as honest as you’d like them to be, and most of us know very little about gears, oil and steering wheels. So a couple of weeks ago, I found a car that fitted my needs at JA Autos, which was on Autotrader. The video of the car that was on the site was great - it showed all the bits that needed pointing out, good commentary and detail - honesty from the start, like it. I called up and spoke to Alan, really nice chap. I went to see him, and see the car. Car was fine, no problems. Best of all, Alan (the boss) was great, really lovely. He ran me though everything, answered all my questions about HPIs etc, showed me all the paperwork, the history etc. I freely admitted I know nothing about cars, and he happily let me know the other questions I should have asked and gave me the answers to those too! Brilliant! I had a good feeling about him from the start. He has been at his current showroom premises for 20 years, been dealing cars longer than that. His desk is full of awards for selling cars / local business awards etc. A good family man, just wants to run a good business, no hassles. He said he would have the car fully serviced, and MOTed, even put in a tank of diesel. Also a 3 month warranty. So really nothing to worry about - of course, any car can have a problem at any time, but I really feel any risk has been mitigated by buying from JA Autos. Great communications the whole way through, really easy for me, a lovely experience. Alan was very pleasant, friendly and professional, can’t recommend him or JA Autos enough. My son will need a car in the next couple of years, and I am more than happy to go back to Alan to ask him to find me a nice little run around for him. I would trust Alan to get a safe car for my son, I think that says it all. A brilliant and honest car dealer. Thanks Alan, really appreciate all your help with this car.

I Bought an Audi A1 1.4 TFSI from Alan and on the test drive it was making a knocking noise so he said he will take it to his “trusted garage” to fix it before I purchased so I waited a week for a service and MOT and the noise to be fixed. Went to collect ur car to find out the noise was still there when I had been told it was all fixed. He told me to go back to the garage so I did. Long story short the car ended up going back to the garage 7 TIMES to be told every time it had been fixed which it hadn’t! In the end they said they didn’t know how to fix it by this point I had the car for 6 weeks. Alan did try to help but by the end of it him and his garage was very rude and tried to manipulate me as I’m a young girl. This resulted me bringing parents into as I was so upset and unsure what to do. After arguing with my mum for an hour we asked for a refund he then tried to charge me £1 per mile I had used (even though everytime I took it to the garage it came back with 50+ miles of my petrol used) he ended up giving me a full refund as he had sold me a broken car and had no leg to stand on when it came down to the law. The MOT and service was done but the car wasn’t road worthy as the brake discs and pads were very worn down. I would NEVER recommend using JA Autos or his “trusted garage” Churchill Motors in Cheam, as soon as I gave the car back the car went straight back up for sale. If you want to buy a car that you can’t drive more than a week before it has to go back into the garage then speak to Alan.

Bought a car from Alan in January 2023. Service felt very personal, open and honest, as he talked through the minor flaws on the vehicle rather than hiding anything. That being said, the car was in amazing condition, new service, MOT, wash, and half a tank of fuel supplied. Even shared his approach to how he works and the vehicles he purchases which inspired confidence in his whole stock. Also very professional and quick to respond to any queries.

Bought my second car from Jade Autos in 3 years. Jasper is extremely knowledge and helpful as he knows his cars inside out. Great communication and troubleshooting both in person and remotely. Would highly recommend!

A great experience buying from Alan. He was obviously very interested and knowledgeable. The whole process was very smooth and felt at ease at all times. Love our new electric car!! Would definitely buy from Alan again!
