Travelled up from Dorset as Kings Highway had a low mileage, "rare" model car that we were looking for. Roland, the owner, was very helpful on the phone when I made the initial enquiry. On arrival Roland met us and was really friendly and welcoming, the car was as described and had been really well valeted, so looked great. After a test drive with Roland's equally friendly assistant we were happy and Roland did us a good deal. Roland gave a three-month warranty in the price and was able to offer longer warranties if we wanted. Later that evening we had a call from Roland just to check we had got ourselves and our new car safely back to Dorset. Overall the whole experience was great; a well presented car at a good price from genuinely lovely people!

I recently bought a new car from Kings Highway Garage. Being only my second car purchase (and it being quite some time since I bought my first car) I wasn't really sure what I had to do but Roland was brilliant. He explained and talked me through everything - it was really reassuring doing business with him. My father and brother have both bought cars from Kings Highway Garage too in the past. As mentioned by others, there was no hard sell here, which was much appreciated. You browse, you test-drive and if interested, Roland and his lovely assistant are happy to help. I bought a Ford Focus and the whole process was quick and easy. For anyone who knows (I didn't at the time), Ford powershifts tend to have trouble with the transmission and sure enough, mine had issues shifting between 1st and 2nd. Roland had it taken care of (new transmission and software upgrade) and his mechanic was top-notch. The process took a few weeks, but now the car runs really well and I'm very pleased with it. I've had it 3 months now, so I think it's fair to say all's well. Despite the hassle, I would gladly buy my next car here.

We had such a positive experience with the people here and they made buying our first car so easy. They explained everything in great detail, in a way that was in no way forcing us or rushing us to make a decision. The car has been amazing and I couldn't recommend enough. 👍🏻
