Matt was very helpful and made distance buying a positive experience.
We drove down from the north west and did a part ex with a Golf, the Deal was fair, Car was as expected and promised.
So buy with confidence if coming from a distance. Matt will do what he promises.

A great buying experience!
It is always very easy to knock the car sales business, but from the initial enquiry, to driving the car away, dealing with Matt was an absolute pleasure.
The car we bought was very keenly priced, and exactly as described, and Matt also gave me a really good trade in value for my old car.
Would certainly recommend a visit to Summit if you are in the market for a new set of wheels

Didn't know anything about this dealer, just phoned about a particular car they advertised on autotrader.

Had to leave voicemail but Matt from Summit returned my call promptly. He was helpful and honest answering questions about the car and its history etc. and when I came to view the car allowed me to look it over and test drive it in my own time without any sales pressure. The car and its history were exactly as he had described on the phone (which from my experience elsewhere is quite unusual) so a deal was done. There were the inevitable bits and pieces like MOT and transfer of registration to sort out before collection. Everything was done on time to my satisfaction and if anything I would say that Matt was more helpful than I might reasonably have expected.

A fault unfortunately did appear within a day of collection, which with Matt's agreement I had repaired locally. The cost was reimbursed immediately and without quibble by Summit. Faults are always possible with used cars, but it was nice to have it Summit deal with it promptly and professionally.

All in all, based on my experience, I would certainly be happy to buy from Matt and Summit again.

Bought my new car from Summit in Box Hill and was delighted with it and with the sales and after service that was provided. Would buy again from Matt and would highly recommend.

I got a finance deal with this garage in November ( I drove over 2 hours ) In the first 3 months I had issues with the car jolting back and forth with the drive train error message coming up. I messaged the man I bought it off in the garage and he came back saying it’s probably an electrical fault. A month later it happened more often with me having to stop in the middle of the road due to loss of power and the engine light coming on. I took it to the garage with my warranty I was given as it was still in date. I was left without a car for 2 weeks while My local car garage find out what’s wrong. They shown me there was more than 20 fault codes and that the EHR Valve needed replacing which cost me £350 as the warrant company being very difficult and not covering it. The warranty company did however say they would contact summit cars and see if they would do a good will gesture as I didn’t buy the car that long ago. I also contacted the garage myself and got ignored and I assumed the good will gesture was rejected. All the glow plugs also needed replacing, as it started to get cold it really struggled to start in the morning before work which caused a lot of stress not knowing if I’ll be able to get to work in the morning. The end result of this has been me paying off the finance and getting a new car from a well known trusted dealership to give me peace of mind there’s no hidden faults. The bloke at summit cars was a nice man but at the end of the day I bought a car which only gave me stress for the first 2-3 months I had it due to all the hidden faults Which I couldn’t have been aware of during my test drive on the day I bought it.

Overall, I would recommend and would buy from here again. Matt is not a pushy sales man and a pleasure to deal with. Nice selection of cars to suit all budgets. Issues with car resolved without quibble but did take a few attempts. Overall happy :)

5* for Matt, found the whole experience great from start to finish.

Matt wasn't trying to flog me just anything in the lot, and made sure I found a car that was suited to my needs. Test drive showed a couple of minor issues which were rectified prior to purchasing, and 3 month parts and labour warranty was also provided.

Got a car from summit in march and just over the 3month warranty period the engine fault light comes on, mechanic plugs in the diagnostic to find 32 codes come up! Don't expect to be sold a car for that price with so many problems, been without my car for nearly 2weeks because they're still trying to find out what's wrong with it. Also when I picked the car up it had no screen wash, low tyre pressure and looked like a 2year old had cleaned the car. Would avoid!
