Bought a VW Polo from here well over a year ago from Jason. Was given a good test drive of the car and allowed to inspect it without feeling rushed. It had been valeted already. This car had done about 30k miles and was 7 years old. We bought the car and have been very pleased with it since. No problems to report. Electrics, gearbox,engine,clutch etc all working as they should. Car is used to commute to work on a daily basis. I highly recommend this company.

After travelling 2 hours to view a car I had made an appointment to see with my Dad, I arrived and had a good look around it. The salesman couldn't really tell me anything about it, no information about its history or where it had come from. A look through the book pack answered my questions and I asked if I could take it for a test drive. I was then told their insurance doesn't cover them for test drives during the current pandemic - not very helpful to be now told this after travelling a fair distance (whilst also heavily pregnant). I walked away to make a phone call to my partner who was unable to join me, on my return the salesman had now decided he could in fact take me for a test drive, however only if I was willing to put a deposit down on the car to show some sort of commitment from myself - apparently travelling 2 hours on a Saturday morning isn't enough. I questioned if this was a refundable deposit should I not wish to buy the car to which he became very defensive and asked why would I not want to buy it. It was clear at this point this was a car dealer I didn't wished to part my money with and decided to leave. The car itself looked nice enough and had it driven well I probably would have bought it. I was also interested in another car they had for sale however on a very quick inspection I could see all 4 wheels were curbed so I soon wrote that one off. I would have been a cash buyer and was simply looking for a quality practical family car for our expanding family. I'm pleased I made the decision to take my business elsewhere.

Selling my cherished car to CMC was a smooth and painless process. From initial contact through to payment and handover Paul, the owner, was thoroughly helpful, knowledgeable and professional.
He was complimentary about my car and paid a very good price.

Very disappointed with the service from this business. I appreciate that selling motorcycles is not the main business, but an agreement had been made for me to purchase a Harley that was in the showroom. I paid a deposit to hold it until I could get to see it. I visited on Thursday, agreed that I would have the bike. Arrange to pick up afternoon of the following Tuesday in the afternoon. I would in the meantime transfer the remaining balance. I did this on the Saturday before I was to collect: I arrange for my insurance to start and all good.... well so I thought... I turned up on the arranged day, admitted a little early, but this should not be a problem. The owner was not there, the guys left there wanted me to remove the bike from the showroom, which would have required moving cars and getting the bike out over a lip. I checked and it was confirmed that my insurers would not cover me for any damage that could
have been caused while removing the bike from the showroom as this is the responsibility of the business owner. The employees refused to remove it. I said I am not covered if anything happens. There was enough notice for the bike to be accessible and prepped. As we could not reach a resolution. I said I would like a full refund. I paid £8500, but have got £8000 back as the business owner said he had had the bike serviced and MOT’d not much use to me....
A bad experience from what I thought was a decent bloke, cost me £500 for doing the right thing. I did get 2 new tyres that he said were free, usually would cost me £200 tops, also not a lot of use without a bike. I needed to get to Portsmouth to catch my ferry otherwise I would have stayed and demanded the rest, but I would have been more out of pocket if I missed my ferry.
This is a warning to anyone using this business.

I met Michael and Paul and I was made to feel welcome straight away. I had a Focus ST to part exchange for a more refined family car. First of all, their stock of cars were all quality low mileage cars. They offered me a really reasonable price for my part exchange. Michael was very professional and made the transaction effortless. He explained everything to me, was engaging and answered any queries I had. As for the car I bought it is amazing! Feels like a new car, I will be back when it's time to change. Thanks Michael and Paul.

Fantastic first class service from Xander and Micheal. Love the car too. I'd recommended any day of the week. These guys are not the typical 'type cast car dealers'. You're guaranteed a quality vehicle without being ripped off.

Amazing service and a great choice of cars. Flew up from Cornwall and they couldn't have been anymore helpful. Cars are top quality and have been well cleaned would highly recommend getting a car from CMC.
