Cazoo Customer Centre Ipswich

BUYERS BEWARE. Make sure you check where your car has come from. They salt the roads a lot up north, and this causes very premature rust on undercarriage. I had one delivered to cazoo and it was orange with rust underneath. It was only 3 years old.... got money refunded.

After receiving low offers for my Toyota Auris from local garages, I thought I’d try Cazoo. I was honest as possible while completing the details for my car and classed it as ‘average.’ The offer was much higher than the garages so I booked to drop my car off. I was advised to fix a couple of recalls before taking it in, which I did. On arriving at Cazoo, I was greeted by Paul who would be looking after me. He made me feel so comfortable and at ease. He gave me a coffee and explained what would happen next. He said the checks would only take three minutes. He wasn’t wrong! Minutes later, he asked me to check my account. The money I was quoted was in my bank! I was so grateful for the fantastic, friendly service from Paul and would recommend Cazoo to anyone selling their car!

Absolutely terrible!
Had an MOT booked for 8am on 01/08/22 with the Ipswich branch, I had taken time off of work around this as obviously, like most people, i depend on my car for work, arrived early that morning to hand over the keys only to be told that they couldn't fit me in today and that they couldn't fit me in until around the 17th!! They have had well over two weeks to inform me of this and certainly didn't have to wait until I got to their centre that very morning! Absolute time wasters! Don't bother with them, find a reliable company that want to keep customers.

If I could give zero stars then I would. I bought a Peugeot 308 through Cazoo, I had endless faults with it. It took ages to then unwind the finance. During that time Cazoo put me in multiple difficult positions which were very stressful. After that I was then in the position to buy my replacement car with Cazoo. I turn up the day before to ask for an update as I lost trust in the company and I was told that the car had been broken in transit which would take up to another month to complete. I was so angry so I told the company where to get. I went to Turners Hyundai in Ipswich who are by far the best garage. If you want a functioning car, stay well clear if Cazoo. Scam of a company!

Edit - please don’t brush this under the carpet with a standard reply saying you want to turn my experience around. I’ve had nearly 100 phone calls and the same in emails with you guys and still no one cared about my experience then.

First Mazda CX5 ordered had issues twice and pickup was cancelled few hours before the pickup date. Received this car after 1 and half month and the nightmare wasn't over. The car had dog hair all over inside the boot and unbearable smell of dog. Was offered £100 to get the car valeted. Had to return as the smell made me vomit.

Second purchase of Mazda CX5 where I noticed wing mirror wasn't folding in (pickup time), the MPG I am getting is very low. Break release from stop makes noise. 300 point check is a joke.
I am being sent to Halfords for repairs, no my light bulbs are fine.

The call centre is run by highschool kids. Hope the nightmare is soon over, wasting too much time with these bunch.

Great experience..... car was ready and waiting, handover was smooth and explained step by step...... felt comfortable, not pushy, given enough time and attention...... I'd recommend, and return to buy another vehicle from them...... so far so good

Warranty not worth a toss to them
The extended warranty isn't worth the paper it's printed on. Demanded umpteen pictures of 1 wheel bearing then never answered the phone when my local garage rung them, then saying they hadn't received the pictures through email when I watched them being sent from the garage......in the end I just gave up and paid the garage myself as I needed my car back and Cazoo obviously not bothered about what I'm going through having to deal with them AND my local garage over a £160 part. Shocking

Just had my Mini Service & MOT undertaken at Cazoo Ipswich. Excellent value for money, by far the best price I could get. Team at Ipswich were very friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.
