I can't recommend Bowers Motors highly enough. They gave me plenty of time to look the car over. They were happy to let me take it out on an independent test drive. There was only one issue with a speaker not working - they replaced the speaker without hesitation. We negotiated a fair price and at no time was there any heavy handed sales patter.

The previous owner had made a mistake on the documentation creating a mileage alert on the car. The team provided all of the service records and a supporting letter which help me get the mileage issue dealt with and the correct mileage logged. At all times the service was exceptional.

When I went to pick the car up it had obviously been serviced and thoroughly cleaned. They had left some flowers and and a bottle of wine for me along with the RAC guarantee and complementary first year breakdown cover.

I've had the car 6 months and there are no issues, its a great little runner and mechanically sound. I'd use them again.

I recently purchased a 13 year old Mini from Bowers Motors. I couldn't be more pleased. I was impressed with the friendly and helpful service. No pressurised sales talk. I paid a fair price and so far the car has been exemplary. Why pay an inflated price for a new car when genuine second hand vehicles are available? I have no hesitation in recommending Bowers Motors. The flowers and bubbly that came with the car were a thoughtful, added bonus.

I have now used Bowers Motors on two separate occasions, once for a service and MOT and a second time for a repair and MOT.

On both visits I found the service very professional and extremely good value. On the second occasion, I’d been told by a friend of a friend that the repair would be very costly and probably need a new ECU (Engine Control Unit). After the car had been with Bowers Motors for a few hours, I received a call with the good news that it would be a simple, inexpensive fix. I picked the car up a couple of days later and it had been fixed and was running great again. It was also a lovely surprise to see the car had also been washed. A nice touch that shows they obviously go out of their way to provide excellent service.

It’s great to find a trusted mechanic that obviously knows what they’re doing and I would highly recommend Bowers Motors to friends and family.

My sincere thanks to Bowers Motors for the excellent service provided. My car was suffering from an intermittent issue. Nick booked my car in, diagnosed the issue and completed the repair on the same day, returning the car back to my home address having fully cleaned it inside and out. The service I received was superb and I whole heartedly recommend Bowers Motors, where you will receive excellent service from a garage you can trust.

If only all garages were so easy to deal with!

My aging car has an increasingly long list of jobs that need doing. I’m very pleased to say that the Bower’s Motors team do a great job keeping my treasured motor running smoothly and looking beautiful.

Nick is so calm, knowledgeable and reassuring. His organisation and honesty lead to work being completed in realistic time scales and at a reasonable cost.

I would not hesitate recommending him to my friends and family.

Great service from Bowers Motors, highly recommended. Had a replacement clutch & dual mass flywheel fitted to my Insignia at a very reasonable price compared to other garages in the area. Even when the new slave cylinder failed a few days after getting the car back, Bowers Motors were fantastic. Came and collected the car and dropped off a courtesy car so I could get to work. The car was fixed quickly and even made arrangements for me to collect my car after hours. Will definitely be using the garage in the future. 👍

I bought a car from in August last year and had 3 months warranty. I took the car back in October with a problem that is still there now to be told he has changed the coil pack spark plugs and rocket cover. The car still has the same problems and gotten worse. He asked me to get a second opinion as he cant find anything wrong with it when the car has been clearly shuddering along with an abnormal noise. I went to kiwk fit who put my car on the diagnostics machine straight away for it to show 7 error codes. I have photographic evidence of this and showed it to the manager of Bowers who said to quote...all diagnostics machines are different. I then asked him to plug my car in to see what faults he can find and see if it confirms what kwik fit found and he refused which I have on recording. He has never diagnosed my car and I was told by two mechanics one of them from kwik fit that the coil pack has never been changed. I mentioned this to the manager and he hung his head and walked off. I have contacted trading standards who said I have statutory rights and to give Bowers the opportunity to amend their mistakes and they said they will but a hefty cost. I was also told by the manager well the car drives doesn't it. Shocked and upset is an understatmenent.Trading standards are now going to help me resolve this stressful issue. I have been lied to and fobbed off by a company who I thought were reputable and decent. Never again will I sing their prices. Please avoid, Bowers have told me the car has been with me for 9 months. That's all they keep telling me. Absolutely disgusting customer care and service and the car is not fit for purpose

I bought a vauxhall insignia from this place. Before I did the deal I asked them to replace the timing belt. They told me they would and also check it over to make sure it was all ok. I'd driven it for 2 weeks when it broke down in the motorway whilst taking my some back to his mum in Blackpool. Turns out the battery was very old and hadn't been replaced. About 12 months after buying it I was driving in the motorway and the timing belt slipped destroying the engine. I took it to a garage and they told me the belt had not been replaced which was why it slipped. I contacted them said they just said the 3 month warranty was over. When I wrote to them a letter asking them to fix the car as they had broken the terms of the agreement they just got their solicitor to send me a letter. I ended up having to scrap the car and buy another from elsewhere. £4000 down the drain because they lied to me about fitting a new timing belt. I'd never recommend this place.
