I can not recommend this beautiful cottage highly enough. So comfortable and spacious with amazing views, location and facilities. Sleeps 8 comfortably with 3 showers, toilets and a bath. The renovation is to an amazing standard.
We stayed for a mountain biking trip. The penmachno trail is a ten minute ride away and many others are with in driving distance.

The cottage was an absolute delight and so much more than I could have hoped for. Every room is tastefully decorated/furnished and are very cosy, my grandchildren especially loved the fabulous bunk beds. The location is superb with views over the valleys. This is a very special place where I have made some very happy memories for my grandchildren. I had to promise to take them again next year, which I am already planning.

This is a very well appointed and well run cottage located in splendid scenery and a perfect place to come for a short stay with young children. The hosts are very attentive without ever being intrusive and the cottage is charming, reasonably priced, well situated for reaching many of North Wales' attractions and the countryside just wants you get out into it, and you will. Excellent dark sky conditions at night, local amenities within easy reach. It's very popular for a reason and has all the mod cons you could want (wifi, digitial TV), plus a charming wood burning stove that you can use to heat the house and water very well. And board games that you can have fun with when you have an evening in with a takeaway! Just for Ceinwen and Jeremy's info, I'm posting this review under my Google "nom de plume" which is not the name we booked under, but we were the family of 4 who stayed for 3 nights in late Feb 22 as the last of the winter Storms passed through. A lovely place to stay.

A wonderful cottage that was thoroughly enjoyed by all the family. The setting is beautiful and everything about the cottage is so well thought out. We had the luck of gorgeous weather so spent a lot of time in the garden both during the day and in the evenings (either side of our walking adventures). Great location as well to ride from if you're into cycling. Some great routes from the cottage and the Penmachno MTB trail is only a short - uphill! - ride away.
My daughter and nephew loved playing in the "secret garden" on the trampoline and in the stream. When going to bed on the final night, my daughter asked if we can come back so I best get our next visit booked in!
Owners Ceinwen and Jeremy are next door further up the driveway, you wouldn't know they are there so you are very much left alone but are always available if any assistance is required. I think this was my fourth or fifth visit and will certainly be coming back.

I had a lovely 3 night stay with my family here, beautiful place, stunning views but my happy holiday was ruined when the owner wanted £75 as he said we used to many toilet rolls and took a bottle of wine that wasn't there so enjoy the place but don't use the toilet.
