Myerscough Veterinary Group Blackburn

I have always taken my pets to this practice group.
My young dog was very poorly yesterday and I couldn't get in at my usual practice so booked in at the Preston New Road Blackburn branch.
All the staff here I found to be extremely personable and professional .... the reception staff put my dog at ease in this new environment to her ... and the same with me.
The vet was excellent spent lots of time examining my pet and explained his findings in detail ... researched the best treatment and practically demonstrated how to administer each one ... very impressed with this approach.
Lovely branch so much so I have switched ... thank you

Would not recommend as a company although the individual staff are mostly lovely. We will however be changing vets after using abbeydale for 40 yrs plus.

First time visiting this vets ,took my daughters cat for her,
Staff and the dermatologist who treated the cat were absolutely fantastic,

The whole team made me & my new rescue dog so welcome & they were so loving towards Luna. The advice I asked for was given easily & the Vet was fantastic. Amazing practice that I will be attending as I need with Luna. Time didn’t appear to be a problem for them at all you can see how passionate the whole team are about animals. I would thoroughly recommend them & they deserve e10 plus stars

I wouldn’t go anywhere else other than Abbeydale. My dog is nervous and Kate, our vet, is so lovely with him. She doesn’t push him out of his comfort zone and is really kind. She doesn’t prescribe really expensive medication and I feel that we get value for money. We’re in the dog health club as I think this is an excellent way to spread costs throughout the year. The nurses and reception staff are all really kind and helpful and they all make a visit, which could be traumatic because of my dogs nerves, a good experience.

I've had no issues in regards to my two cats I have registered with Abbeydale in Blackburn.. Always been welcoming and listened to any concern you may have. Even over the telephone consulataion. Vet nurses are great. The receptionist always polite and helpful. I borrowed a cat carrier because I have two cats and still hvnt manage to buy the second carrier.The receptionist at the time borrowed me one which was really good and kind of her. I really appreciate that. I will be returning it today some point. So my apologies ladies.. Overall this practice is great and do go the extra mile to help.would definitely recommend to others.

Absolutely amazing with our girl after she'd had her puppies. Made her feel very comfortable, our girl can get really anxious around new people, the vet was brilliant with her and the puppies.
