I have to say that I think everyone here is absolutely amazing. My cat suffered a fractured leg and they couldn't do enough to liaise with me and the Royal Veterinary College where he was initially being treated. Even the vet there commented to me that this practice is one of the best they have dealt with. The ladies on reception are always a pleasure and again go that extra mile. Special shout out to Terri who was absolutely amazing and super helpful!

Ok, let’s add a brutally honest review. This is not a great veterinary practice. It’s more like a backstreet version of a vet; the equivalent of pulling your tooth out with a pair of pliers rather than going to a dentist. Now don’t get me wrong; the veterinary care itself is fine. It’s more the way it’s run. The staff, always, without exception, pick up the phone saying “is it an emergency?” then leave you hanging on. Whenever you visit, you feel like they are doing you a massive favour just by giving you the time of day. No smiles, no pleasantries. Call to get the flea and worm treatment you subscribe to and be made to wait days, for what is a 5 minute job. Try to change your plan and be given neverending excuses so they can make another couple of quid from you each month. They’re open at weekends, but why? If you want to book a routine operation at a weekend, forget it. It’s all at their convenience, as you are pond life after all. And the absolute crowning glory… complain and you see the root of the problem. The manager. Clearly incapable of managing, she sees everything from the practice’s point of view and has no empathy with the customer at all. Poor management = poor staff attitude = not the practice to take your furry little friend. Do yourself a favour and look for a RCVS (Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons) accredited practice. This isn’t one. Your pet deserves better. And so do you.

I would travel miles to go to this practice. The staff are all so friendly and caring, from the vetenarians to the lovely receptionists. And my little dog Lulu loves and trusts them all, as do I 🐾🐾❤

The vet was amazing. Very friendly, incredibly knowledgeable...particularly of our dog's breed... fully explained everything and gave a thorough examination. We were left with no uncertainty that this vet was seeking to find the true reason and vest treatment for our pet's symptoms rather than the most expensive. We feel completely confident that the vet had our dog's best interests at heart. Fabulous service for which we are very grateful.

gave basic care on our (possibly dying) ferret, then refused to see our ferret the next day because the well-being of the staff is more important than caring for an animal.

Very friendly and welcoming and the vet listened to all of my issues and concerns and also took a very long time. Is it in with my dog who is very nervous to gain trust from him. I was very impressed.

Ely and team are super. Always go the extra mile and give great impartial advice and after hours help that goes above and beyond. I trust them completely, thank you.
