We took Tyson our kitten to the vets because he wasn’t well and was not eating or walking and the vet said he had injured his tail, bum area and that it would get better over time with a course medication, he has tested and been on the mend, exactly what she predicted and he’s almost better, she also advised us to bring him back for x ray if he hasn’t got better, but thankfully it hasn’t come to that. So I am satisfied as what she diagnosed seems to be true and he is getting better every day

Had 2 experiences with these and neither have been good. I had to bring my cat In and they wanted to charge £469 to drain an abscess. Was charging for 42 items but there was only 7 on the computer when pricing it up. The second was with my mums dog, called up for an emergency appointment as he was very Ill told them that we thought he could be dying and they suggested that we go to a different vet. Need balaclavas to be made a part of their uniform.

Unfortunately I had to have my Springer Spaniel put to sleep over the bank holiday. No where local was open and I didn't want to stress him and take him the the rvc, after already having several trips my normal vets and the rvc through the past few weeks. Although a very difficult decision was made after talking to 5 different vets we were so grateful that Vets4pets was open and able to help us and relieve Charlie from the on going pain. The level of care and compassion that was given was outstanding they gave me as much time as I needed, consoled me when crying and were all very sympathetic and understanding. The staff were all very kind! A few days after loosing my dog I received a condolence card in the post from all the staff and inside was a note with the imprint of Charlie's nose and paw print, it was such a lovely touching thing to do and was gratefully received. Although I cried I really appreciate it I miss my baby boy so much he was like a child to me so I will be framing the imprints. Thank you so much!

My cat hates going to the old vet's (last vist refused to even try and look at her) because they stressed her out (they even put her in a crush on one occasion which she bent) I decided that her wellbeing was a priority so changed to vets4pets my first visit they were professional (I had warned them about her temper) she was handled with care hopefully future visits she will gradually calm down and realise not all vet's are horrible.
Normally I have a bad tempered cat walking round ( she's a house cat) the house for three or more days after a visit to the vet's plesent surprise loving cat a soon as I got home
Sadly her twin sister suddenly fell ill and passed away the week before the first appointment vets4pets very considerate.

Called yesterday because my dog was dying and I was told there is no veterinarian available to see her. I had to drive to Hatfield (30 mins drive) and she passed away in my arms because we didn’t make it on time. I can’t believe someone can refuse to help dying animal, a family member.

Took my kitten to them because one of his pupils was bigger than the other. I got told “keep watch on him, but it could be a tummy problem” then sent home.
I knew something wasn’t right so I went for a second opinion at vets 4 pets letchworth. And my poor kitten has a serious problem potentially and has been referred to a hospital for a mri on his brain & bloods.
Absolutely appalling that they just sent me home without giving me a definitive answer. I’m so glad I didn’t leave it because god knows what would have happened to my kitten

AVOID!!

Would give 0 if I could as they will try their hardest to get money out of you. Took my puppy in and after they “checked his health” they said his belly was hurting (I checked after and it was fine) and that I would need to pay £400 for an X-ray. Have since taken him to a proper vet that cares about the well-being of my dog and not how much money they can take from you. His health check came back perfect, nothing wrong with him!

Sadly yesterday we had to have our beautiful dog Lou euthanized. The vet and the nurse were so kind and understanding. Lou had had two operations previously there and was treated for a serious infection , they saved her life twice. I have nothing but praise for them.
