Forest Veterinary Centre, Epping

Very sad visit to a very good vets. We called in the morning and got an appointment for the same morning. Our appointment was on time and the vet was brilliant. Our dog was very poorly and was later moved to the Epping branch and kept in overnight and they were equally as good there. Unfortunately our dog did not make it but the staff could not have been more understanding and attentive and allowed as much time with him as we wanted. I will not use any other veterinary surgery again.

I have recently moved to Forest vets, what a refreshing change to have such proactive forward thinking treatment for my diabetic cat Bruiser.

I highly recommend them to anyone that’s looking for a vet practice for your precious fur babies.

Thank you to the staff for being so friendly and reassuring. Joe was wonderful with my yorkie, Freddie. He made sure that he is comfortable whilst examining what is causing him pain. A few years ago when Freddie was attacked by another dog and needed surgery, he stayed at the hospital for a couple of days. Whenever we come back here, Freddie is eager to go in (possibly the only dog that loves going to the vets) but that only shows what great care was provided to him. It’s great having a vet you can trust to get your little pet better.

We had excellent veterinary care at the Forest Veterinary Centre in Epping. We hadn't realised how ill our dog, Tilly, was when we took her there as an emergency late in the evening of 28th August. Sadly she died just after midnight but the treatment that Tilly received and the compassion that was shown to us as owners was second to none. I would not hesitate to recommend the practice to anyone.

The nursing staff very friendly but the receptionists let the team down. One barely looked up at me from her mobile phone and didn't crack a slight smile when I walked in, the second one at least smiled when she returned to her desk even if she was eating (particularly enjoyed hearing her folk dragging on her teeth, chewing and her strong smelling food.
I had already had bad experiences with the reception team when I had rung to make an appointment and wasn't sure if I could get away from work to get there; I was told "well, if you wanted a choice of times you should have rung sooner" when I said I wasn't sure if I could do the time she gave me. Which I feel was a little rude and verging on sarcastic. I took the appointment because I felt a bit bullied and a pain to be making the appointment but had to call the morning of the appointment to move it back to a later time which the receptionist (a different lady) sorted for me with ease.
Well safe to say I will not be recommending this practice, but hope that this may trigger further training for staff.
Let's hope they treat animals better than humans minimum.

Excellent service from the Epping team today, talking me through the procedure my hamster was having and supurb after care.
Would recommend to anyone. Put at ease right from the begining.

Vet sauntered into the practice 25 minutes late for my appointment (I saw them entering the building) leaving me waiting for half an hour in the waiting room with a sick and increasingly nervous and worried pet. I've since changed vet (who is also better priced).

Eddie was in Epping 3 weeks ago and the treatment care and love he received was second to non and amazing. They literally saved his life and I’m forever grateful. I’ve been with Forest for 33 years and would not go anywhere else. The staff are all so lovely and having been at Woodford for all this time lots have become friends. To everyone at Woodford and Epping a massive thank you xx
