Village Vet Garden Suburb

Danny and all the staff at village vet are always very attentive and gentle with my cat. My sister has been going to Danny with various pets over the last 20 years and he has always been very kind and great with all of them. Highly recommend.

I took my cat as she was acting very weird, hiding and hissing at everyone (normally she is the most friendly and sweet cat). She has a hernia on her belly button so I though it could be pain related to that. I took her to the vet, who didn't let me in the room to support. After 15 minutes they told us they couldn't do an assessment as the cat was too aggressive and it wasn't safe for the staff (bare in mind she is not even 3kg, and I offered to hold her for them). They said the only way to assess her was to sedate her. After this, I paid 67£ for the consultation.
It isn't really the money (I understand it was a walk in so maybe more expensive), it is more that the consultation wasn't even done as my cat wasn't actually assessed. It seemed to me they were rushing to close the surgery (we presented at 18:00). They also wanted me to go again the next day for a review and make me pay another 60£. I would have rather them saying to me straight away "we are closing soon, the cat doesn't seem too unwell right now, you can go to the 24/7 clinic" instead of paying for a consultation that wasn't even completed. We would have both saved time.

Very unhappy about the experience.
I had an appointment to have my dog vaccinated. I came in 4 minutes late and sat and waited as the Receptionist was busy inside. She came out much later and marked me arrived very late, so the Vet decided to see the next pet without notice.
I protested to the Receptionist and explained what was unfair about this, and my dog waiting nervously. She looked at me blankly and did not even say a word of apology. I left and did not get a call later either to settle things. Very poor Customer treatment.

A brilliant practice, everyone is very friendly and accommodating. Danny has always provided excellent care!!

Danny and his team have always looked after Buzz and my previous dog, Max. I have complete confidence in them

We joined Village Vet after poor experience at another local vet. We are so happy we did, the team truly care about our ragdoll cats Theo & Cleo. Theo was neutered and is back to his happy self one day later. The receptionist is wonderful and so kind, as well as the nurse. The information and service provided is the highest standard. Danny the vet is amazing and everything you would want when it comes to treating your precious pets.

I’ve been going to Danny at Village Vet Garden Suburb for almost 20yrs with my cats and highly recommend him. He genuinely loves the animals and gives the best care. I moved out of the area a few years ago but got two ragdolls kittens and only wanted Danny as my vet so I travel to his practice even though I could stay local.

Danny the vet is AMAZING!! My dog Marble always struggles with the vet & can be aggressive but he let Danny look at him & help him with his ear infection!! I wouldn’t ever take Marble anywhere else now :)
