Village Vet Kensal Green

I have been using Village Vets since they took over the practice of my previous vet a couple of years ago. The changeover was seamless and I have been very impressed with both the practitioners and the practice since then. All the staff do their best to put my very nervous dog at ease when I visit and I love the fact that I get regular reminders for when monthly treatments are due. I have also signed up to the Pet Portal they offer which spreads the cost of all the vaccinations and flea/worming treatments across the year and includes an annual health check/consultation which is very reassuring.

I booked an appointment for today 14th of may(Saturday) for my 2 cats. After taking day off work and driving 30+ minutes and paying £3 parking the Clinic was closed even though i had an appointment and even on their website and google said they should be open! Very unreliable, terrible service. I would never bring my pets here again. In case of emergency this could have cause series consequences to anyones pet. DO NOT BRING YOUR PETS HERE!

I am a client of village vet in north west London for many years, this department I used first time couple of days ago with my beloved dog Emma and I would like to say big thank you to the staff, the best experience so far, amazing people, highly professional, will choose this department as my main from now!

Wasn't very impressed with the vet, he was a bit rough with my dog who dosent like the vets anyway. It was very expensive compared to other vets I have used won't use again unless an absolute emergency.

One of the worst vets i have ever been to, didn't even examine my cat and told me it was an infection. Turned out to be cancer (took him to another vet which i highly recommend, roundwood vets) even though i had asked him if there was a possibility it could be and completely dismissed me. Would never take any of my pets back and would discourage anyone who genuinely cares about their animals to seriously avoid this vet. Rude and obnoxious.

I took my cat (13 years) at the beginning of August 2022 to get seen as one of his ears had an ulcer which had been bleeding on and off for several weeks. I saw vet Isaco Ce-Armas who from the onset was rude and condescending. He then went to examine my cat with the help of a nurse (nurse was lovely, gentle and a good conversationalist). He tried to stop the bleeding by applying adrenaline and pressure with a gauze for 5mins. Whilst this happened, I asked if the ulcer looked like skin cancel (bcc or melanoma), he said it was UNLIKELY so naturally felt better. He prescribed antibiotics, collar and asked me to call reception and bring him in the following day if the bleeding did not stop. I have since taken my cat to another vet in the area. The vet told me 'unless you are blind, you can see that it is skin cancer' and that she was 90% sure but nevertheless would run blood tests and biopsy. These confirmed skin cancer. I have allowed myself to calm down before writing this review and embarking on a formal complaint not only for the way he made me feel but the miss diagnosis.

The receptionist Shannon is awful. I had ask to check my dogs vaccination date and unfortunately she wasn't able to do the most simplest request, she hang up the phone on my face. I do not recommend this place at all. Please go to another branch.

Village Vet, staff and facilities are exceptional. I strongly recommend them.
