Medivet Hornsey - Hornsey Vets

I came here as they recommended me to see Victoria a while ago. I’m glad I did as she is an excellent vet. Always clearly communicating all my options In an easy way for me to understand. She has kept me updated on all the diagnostics and tests that we needed to do to treat my pet making it easier to processes it all. I really appreciate the warmth and empathy she gives even in the difficult moments and for keeping our little one alive with us for a bit longer.
Thank you also to receptionist Shannon for being so kind and helpful with the claiming side of things.

We have been customers for over a decade, bringing in the five cats we have lived with in that time. They have been consistently brilliant - responsive, helpful, attentive - they always listen and are keen to do the best for our pets. Plus the reception staff are friendly and very efficient.

Was initially over the moon with the service and confident this would be our forever vet for our young Pomeranian, we was offered a free check up on arrival of registering him only 2 days later had to bring him in for a emergency, we decided that after this we should just get the check up done and book him in…we called and spoke to the receptionist only to be put on hold three times and had to explain our situation on multiple occasions we was then past over to a very militant head nurse who explained that now because we have a real concern that we would be charged for the check up and that the information was wrong…I understand that the veterinarians are under a lot of stress and doing a wonderful job but being spoke to in this manner and being messed about with miss information like we have been I feel a lot less confident about using this as tommys forever vets. The only reason for the 3 stars is because of the love and care they gave to my boy on his emergency

Lovely, friendly and caring people. I've been visiting for my 1y old dog's check-ups and more recently to undergo an orthopaedic surgery and neutering. Dr. Ianthi went above and beyond to answer all my queries and concerns, she was there in every step of the way and took really good care of my little one. She's very thoughtful and caring, she understood my dog's individual needs and advised accordingly. We couldn't have asked for better vet team!

The service received at medivet hornsey has been absolutely despicable and will not be bringing my dog back here. The team are inexperienced and only care about payment rather than the care of my dog. My dog came in at 09:00 I called at 14:00 he had still not been seen. When my dog returned from the surgery he was coughing and vomiting 4 days after he was seen when I phoned up the surgery to discuss I was told it was fine and then I was immediately sent a parvovirus cases email. I am still awaiting feedback from Winston’s scans which were over two weeks ago and no one has got back to me. They only care about the money rather than the health of your dog. I have not even been advised as to what it could be. I am raging. No wonder why the Highgate branch closed down.

Could tell there was a mix up with my appointment, and the receptionist didn't communicate very well with me. Because of the mix up I felt my time with the vet was a little bit rushed.
There isn't anything to discuss as I wouldn't use you again.

😡ABSOLUTE RIP OFF, went in for 2 free puppy checks and came out with a bill when it was a free puppy check, Only had one booked in when I booked both of them in, and then charged me when it was meant to be free. Very disappointed 😥

We have used Medivet for a number of years and our last Cat was very well cared for a number of years until he became ill, and they were so very kind when we had to make the decision to say goodbye to him 18 months ago.

We have now got a family of young cats, a mother of just over a year and 2 lovely kittens of 4 months. On our first visit to get the little ones vaccinated we experienced the same care and attention and continue to see Medivet our ‘first choice’ when looking for the best care for our pets
