Mead Veterinary Centre

We recently changed vets to mead vets, they were there for us and our Nishka even during lockdown. we are so grateful to them for their expertise, advice & of course for referring us to Nico in Broadstairs for Nishkas knee crucial ligament operation.

We absolutely love Mead Vets they go above and beyond for us every time they never rush us and always have time to listen to our concerns and check our dog throughly. Whenever we have called and needed to be seen day of they have always found us an appointment and we are so grateful to them. They are a credit and an invaluable asset to the local area Thanks so much to the wonderful staff that always make a stressful day when Arlo isn’t well easy

Lovely vets and reception staff. Arrived before my appointment and was seen early. No waiting around. Reception staff acknowledge all the pets in the waiting room and are helpful to the less able to fetch pets from cars etc or pets that are in cars because they are too nervous/ill to be in the waiting room. So glad we registered our puppy here compared to vets we have been registered with before 💖

If I could give a 0 star I would, unprofessional egotistical and arrogant vet prescribed the wrong treatment, and missed a vital problem with my dog leading to further complications that will now cost more (at another vet) to fix, tried to avoid liability by being rude and aggressive and implying I’ve wasted his time talking to me and met me with sarcastic remarks about putting my dog to sleep. Honestly can’t tell you how disgusted I am with his attitude was caught out on a mistake and belittled and was aggressive towards me when it was questioned. Honestly if you want proper treatment take your dog elsewhere, they are only capable of routine stuff here.

Verry verry helpful and professional staff working there,they just awesome 5stars,they helped to my Ginger cat without any questions and they done what they supposed to do,verry verry recommended my friends.

Love this vets, always so knowledgeable and really look after my cats. Highly recommended. The reception staff are really friendly and super helpful too.

I had to take my senior cat in and sadly it was time for her pass over the rainbow bridge. The staff were amazing, so empathetic dealing with me a blubbering mess. Thank you so much to the team. Highly recommend ❤️

Our dog passed away and we took her to the mead to arrange her cremation. They were so supportive and helpful as we were heart broke . I absolutely recommend here. The staff are amazing.
