Blakemere Veterinary Centre

The folks at Blakemere Veterinary Clinic are very kind and compassionate. I moved here from the US and brought my 2 cats with me. My family and I had used the same vet since I was a child and they were awesome. When I first started using Blakemere I was nervous about whether I would like them as much. My first visit I encountered a vet that had very little bedside manner but she did take good care of my cat who had become ill quite suddenly. Since then I have seen several other of the vets there and they have all been lovely. The entire staff is very kind and easy to talk to.

Luvvv this vet practice, Yeap expensive at times but then ain't all vets expensive?? Really friendly staff n vets, always happy to help out n I for one wouldn't go anywhere else, Ella bear hates going to the vets like most pooches but cos they get on n do what needs doin she's out in no time n legging outta the door back to the car but would defo suggest taking ur pets to Blakemere vets 100% 🐾🐶🐾🐶🐾🐶😘💖💗😘💖💗

The actual vets themselves were fine and caring , but the pricing structure for the service received was nothing short of a rip off, £670 for blood tests and no answers ! we all know being a vet is a licence to print money but this goes beyond .

Thank you for your very helpful and kind staff in my time of indecision you steered me through not pushingor prompting.You could not have been kinder to Ben as I had , had him too the vets so many times in his final weeks he was loosing confidence in me. His end was very peaceful but is always tearful and they dealt with it very well yet again Thankyou and if you hear of a mid age lab looking for someone to love him l,m your man!

Great practice, cant comment on all vets there but the two we have seen with our elderly dog ,cant praise them enough . Most of staff are welcoming and always polite and helpful.

Andrew is an outstanding Vet. The care he has given to my beloved dogs Poppy and Cotton Tail is exemplary. He is a credit to Blakemere Vets and his profession. The whole team are wonderful.

We had a poorly puppy, sickness and generally unwell. He was seen within a couple of hours, X-ray and surgery. A wonderful practice, everyone is friendly, helpful and do professional. The Care and consideration is just fantastic, highly recommend.Reasonable prices too!

These guys are very caring, they are now only one a few vets that still offer in house out of hours as they are still owned by the partners unlike most that have sold out to the mega conglomerates, they cover large and small animals and are kind on the pocket
