I have been using Banstead village vets for about 15 years now if not longer. I would not go anywhere else!! Andy and all the other members of staff are always so friendly.
And I really do feel they are always more about your pets than money. which I love as my previous vet was the complete opposite.
I can’t recommend them enough.

First time visiting and couldn't be happier. Reception was calm and welcoming for a nervous dog and we were seen promptly. Appointment was with Andy who really took his time listening to the problem and did a thorough examination. I felt he completely understood our issue and took appropriate and proportionate action in treating my dog.

The professional and knowledgeable team provided a supportive and caring service at an upsetting time with a poorly pet. Andy and team clearly care and took the time to explain how we can help our pooch feel better. Thank you!

Disappointed by the service received. Took three separate visits, seeing three different vets, to find a grass seed trapped in my dog's eye. The first visit should've been enough, given the size of the seed, but they didn't look under the third eye lid, or mention that he even has one or that it could be a place to check in future!

Second issue we faced was when our dog has gastro-intestinal type problems. Generally the service was fine and tests recommended well defined and for good reason. Then when my wife was on a call with one of the vets, she was shouted at quite badly, and not really sure why. Under no circumstance should any vet lose their temper and act in this way, even if they are busy and don't want the hassle of speaking to a concerned dog owner that just wants their dog to be better. Really disappointed by this behaviour.

Dear Andy.

You have stated in your response to my Husband's review that we were 'rude and abusive' and that our poorly informed 'demands' were not met.

This is a lie to try and discredit his review.

We have never been rude or abusive in any way to any of the team at BVV.

So I did email the Practice Manager, Carly. She said that the vet (that shouted at my wife) was apologetic but it was because my wife interrupted her. I asked why you have referred to us as abusive and for ANY examples. For some reason she didn't address this question.

We made suggestions for probiotics and for a treatment trial of antibiotics given our suspicions of what we believed our dog's issues were, but always asked for your thoughts. We scheduled all tests that you recommeded.

In fact you sent us a letter terminating service while we had a suite of tests, you recommended, booked in!

The arrogance of you to write that about us. Obviously too much hassle for you.

We have been customers since we got our kittens, 12 years ago. They really adore the animals. Always relatively easy to get an appointment. Very caring.

Good vets. Always helpful whenever we need them

Only gripe is that you've got to pay postage for the monthly flea, tick treatment monthly - would be great to pay postage in a yearly cost, or include in the DD price

This is a brilliant family vets, Andy has been looking after our pets for over 16 years and his colleague's, Liz, Carly and Amy have all been so kind and helpful. You couldn't find a better vets and we'd never go anywhere else.
