Companion Care - Salisbury

A big thankyou to malcom at companion care vets salisbury for basically saving my working English springer spaniels life after having a huge twig embedded in her throat area definitely not a easy procedure highly experienced vet cannot thank him enough really knows his stuff thankyou malcom

Today was the day we dreaded for a while, our beloved 16 year old pooch became so poorly.
We phoned at 9am and said it was urgent, were told to come straight up.
The compassion and care from reception staff, and vet and nurse was exceptional. We said goodbye to our doggy daughter, but she passed so peacefully and care to us too, we will never forget.

Fantastic vets, the staff are so always accommodating, helpful and friendly. Had several animals with them over the last decade and have never been disappointed with their service. Tina is excellent at the insurance side of things too, very helpful.

Sadly I booked in and was waiting for over 45 mins, watching others come and go.. I'm patient so waited to long, but they had skipped us!
My dog was amazing considering but it's not good. I wasn't given an explanation or apology either.

Stopped by to give a brief review because vet Malcolm has always gone above and beyond for us- being so patient with my many questions and putting our beloved dogs to sleep over the years with such tenderness and compassion. He was always correct with his diagnosises, even the very tricky ones yet he was humble at the same time. The receptionists too are such kind hearted, friendly people, definitely the best of all the area's practises. I do so wish Malcolm hadn't moved on to a new area but I have no doubt the other vets will be excellent.

Well done guys. A firm favourite of mine. I highly recommend Sandra and her team to my customers. Im a dog walker in Salisbury. Sandra and her team are always there and offering good sensible and practical advice and care.
As ever a smooth appointment today. Practical advice. Efficient and friendly staff.
The team yet again, pulled all the stops for my bully

The Vers have a sign up that clearly states they’re busier than usual, and ask for our patience. I fully appreciate that. But they kept me waiting for half an hour, and for the last ten minutes I could see 3 female staff just standing and chatting in the area between consultation rooms. That’s quite disrespectful to people who arrived on time and are waiting.
For the entire time that I was waiting, the two ladies behind the reception desk did no work, they just chatted. Even in the waiting area you could hear their conversation word for word. And every time they laughed the noise was so loud through out the area. It’s just not a nice environment to wait when you’re worried about a poorly pet.

I couldn't recommend Companion Care or rate them highly enough, Malcolm, Tom, Sandra and the reception staff are all wonderful human beings who care passionately for animals and their welfare rather than money..They are kindhearted, professional, caring, empathetic, understanding, honest and compassionate and have helped all three of my babies over the last few years, with two awful emergencies as well. My kitty came home today after a traumatic time of it and an amputation 😔 But he was in the best vetinary hands in the whole of Salisbury, cared for, saved and shown love to the highest standard. Malcolm always explains everything so I can understand and is so caring and reassuring and Tom was so helpful and compassionate during such a difficult time. The aftercare is always brilliant as are the whole team, they are amazing, so don't listen to the negative reviews, they are codswallop.. I would never go anywhere else and can't thank them all enough with all of my heart for all they do. Thank you 💖
