I can only thank Helen and the team for their incredible services and that I still have Brodie with me but even better he has a new lease of life and is back to being his good old pain in the backside :)

He was having trouble breathing and from my own experience I thought it could be kennel cough but as it worsened it was clear it was something more sinister! The HL team were so good, they referred me this amazing cardio vet in Milford that works with them and we took him there. He was given the canine version of the last rites and I kissed him goodbye as I left - I never thought I'd see him again!

Sheena the Cardio vet called me at about 4pm (I was expecting the worst) but she said he's responding well to the treatment and would be best at home - well 24hours later I have this nutter of a setter back and since then we have gone from strength to strength - he is loving life which is all I ask for my pets.

I have been going to HL with my Gordon Setters and Maine Coons for more years that I care to mention and I am always treated with respect, they know I know dogs and most of all know my dogs - I am never told to keep him quiet which is a foreign language to a setter owner!!!

So, thanks again Helen and all your lovely team - he is currently laying my my feet snoring!!!!

Oh, and why a four and not five stars - the parking can be a bit annoying but this not the fault of the team but a problem with Guildford itself!

10/09/19 - an update. I took Brodie to Sheena (cardio vet) for the three month check up. She was amazed, he is still so full of life and now no heart murmur. I know this is no cure and we need to manage this (as with human heart disease) but he now has such a great quality of life and lives life to the full which is all I ask for - again thank you Helen and team and of course Sheena

Excellent vets, definitely would recommend, we got an appointment for the next day after speaking to the very kind receptionist. Both of the vets we saw here were really friendly and professional.

Popped in today to ask some advice about my dog, the receptionist went to ask Helen the veterinary, only for me to overhear Helen say "God, that woman is so annoying" very rude and unprofessional behaviour. I have cancelled my pet plan and will not be returning where I am made to feel extremely unwelcome.
Grant and Hannah are kind and extremely professional.

Very pleased with the treatment my cat received for an emergency dental problem. Vet Lucy was very gentle with my pet and other staff were just as caring. So pleased I changed vets to Hunters Lodge

I have been taking my two cats to Hunters Lodge Vets for a number of years now. All the vets and staff are so helpful and friendly and always come up with the best solutions for my cats. Couldn't recommend them enough.

Being a first time cat owner I had no idea what to look for when choosing a vets, but we were recommended Hunters Lodge and they have been great. The staff and vets are very friendly and are always happy to help no matter how small the problem.

Be very aware that these vets hold their pockets in higher regard than the animals they treat.

Be very cautious when allowing your animals any over night care provided by another practice that actually cares as we did. We wanted to change to that vet after the treatment we received from Hunters Lodge just to find we could not due to a contract they had between themselves for a minimum period of 6 months despite never being told or having an actual contract ourselves or agreeing to this before it was too late.

Poor show hunters !! then to receive an unacceptable bumptious response via email to the complaint we submitted. Disgraceful customer service and would never bring any of our animals to you again as since leaving your practices have come under further question
