Our rescue kitten needed her operation, microchip and injections. All available here, the operation was done at the main surgery and brought back she was here. There's the option of monthly worming and flea treatment under the plan which were thinking of taking up. George the vet was friendly and helpful. We got stuck in traffic, quick call and was still seen no problem. The vets are just next to the co-op set back from the main road. Parking is free outside but only a small carpark and busy at school finishing times.

Excellent!. Fantastically helpful at christmastime with our little sickly dog. Lovely, caring and considerate. Not all about the money!.. which, incidentally, was considerably less than our previous vets Hillcrest. It's Myerscough now for our two!. Thanks again.

Myself and my partner took our cat in to this practice for a check up with the vet due to noticing a quick deterioration in her breathing. We were advised that she had a “mild” chest infection and would require antibiotics for a week and to return if she hadn’t fully recovered. Two days later my cat was in critical condition struggling to breathe and just stay alive to be honest and we knew something was seriously wrong. I contacted the emergency number provided by the practice in the early hours of the morning and was advised to ring back at 7am to make an appointment at the hospital site in Clayton-le-dale. The same vet who had seen her the initial time was on this night shift and advised the nurse I was speaking to about the appointment that she will probably need steroids. All advise given was provided with a “nothing to worry about”tone and we trusted this and we were reassured that the condition was “mild”. However when we arrived at our appointment that day to see another vet we were informed that she was in “critical condition and she needed urgent help” as they believed she had a possible collapsed lung and a heart murmur which had been missed in our first appointment. Following some investigation it was found she had a large tumour in her chest cavity and there was no treatment or procedure which could save her. The kindest thing for us to do was to let her go. She was not even two years old and we had been blind sided by this news as we had been told it was only a “mild chest infection”.I know the outcomes would have probably been the same as the development of her condition happened within the space of 10 days but it just wasn’t taken seriously enough in the first instance and nor were further investigations suggested to us. The vet dealing with us had near to no communications skills and very little compassion and left us with very little information. We felt the whole experience was focused around money and cost. My advise would be to seek a more family orientated vets if you want your pets taken care of with compassion and dignity they deserve if god forbid they ever need emergency help.

Still waiting to see if they will accept my dog as a new customer. There is nothing wrong, but I need to register her so she can receive her annual checks and vaccinations. If that could be speeded up it would put my mind at rest Thankyou

Very focused on price , offering treatments pet doesn't need , also having to travel as my local veterinary surgery doesn't have a vet due to national shortage that's what they say. Their emergency vet is £200 before you've even been seen. If I could I would change vets

Lovely people and contrary to some reviews are only concerned for the pets. Have made lots of adjustments to be able to treat my very gentle but very reactive girl. And yes, they have talked to front about treatment cost but only to warm me, not in a grasping way. Very impressed so far.

The staff who work at the Myerscough Veterinary Group are so nice and helpful. I took my new guide dog just so he could spend a bit of time in the waiting room. The staff were very accommodating. They are all about the animals comfort and safety. As well as letting owners know their pets are well looked after etc. I recommend these vets to to anyone.

Had cat spayed and she ended up with a hernia as a complication of the operation. Vet first advised that further surgery was needed and would be free as it was them that caused it. 2 minutes later she adds that it could cost upto £900. She called the main hospital and they said that even though the hernia was caused by them, we would have to pay the cost of another spay to rectify the hernia. Left the practise absolutely fuming and am currently seeking legal advice as i believe them to be incompetent and negligent. Will be finding another vet asap for all of my animals. All trust in Myerscough has gone out the window 🤬🤬
