Would highly recommend. The vet was kind and caring and truly cared about our dogs welfare as opposed to it being about making money (which we have found with other vets). They helped to put our minds at ease and reassured us throughout.

First Class, Friendly, Very Helpfull, and Pleasant, we found All the staff to be so kind, nothing is to much trouble, even our dog Casper, had no anxieties, and he sat there quite content, before seeing the Vet, and after seeing her, every thing she did to Casper was clearly explained to us, and I Thank Her for her, and reception staff for There Professionalism in What they do, THANK YOU. *****
The Service and Consideration We Had At Moy's Was, Far ABOVE WHAT WE HAVE EXPERIENCED AT ANOTHER VETS

From my first contact with the practice over the phone to having my pet treated by the vet we both had a lovely experience. The receptionist over the phone was absolutely amazing and so understanding about my pets needs as well as my needs. When I arrived at the vets the receptionist was lovely to me and my dog coco and made us feel very welcome. When the vet called us through in to the examination room she was fantastic. Usually my dog is nervous and panicking and usually barks alot and can snap at people when she's scared. However, the vet was so calm and inviting that coco just laid down on the table and didn't move at all and aas totally relaxed even when the vet inserted a thermometer into her bottom and even for the rest of the exam. My dog has NEVER been that relaxed at all. I even had to take a picture of my dog laying calmly on the table to prove to my partner how calm she was otherwise he wouldn't have believed me! Everything was explained to me in detail and coco got the care and treatment she needed to make her feel better. I couldn't thank all of the staff enough for helping us and being so kind, we have never had that experience in any other veterinary surgery ever before. Thank you to you all. You were all amazing and made our first time at this vets wonderful

First visit with our dog Bruno and he was made to be very relaxed with all the attention he got.
The staff couldn't have been better.
Thank you.

Moved from Hambleton due to concerns about the vet treating our cat there and the vet she saw at Thornton was as bad, actually laughed that cat was quiet and no longer playing with toys, saying she was now old (she was 11 and this was a big change in behaviour). Our much loved cat was dead within weeks.

This review comes after Moys vets have accepted culpability and paid compensation due to their lack of professionalism resulting in the death of our dogs litter! Vet Marta Salemi sent us home after I had to force my dog to be seen due to her releasing green discharge at the time of potential whelping. Stated nothing of concern but maybe this was more due to the surgery was closing for the weekend! Having to re contact the emergency vet Kate Jordan due to no signs of whelping but more discharge i was told to let nature take its course! Turns out Moys emergency vet that weekend had better things to do, like ferrying around her daughter & friends on a hen night, than doing her job and scanning my dog and saving her litter! She too said the dark green discharge was nothing to worry about! On the Sunday I had to ask if she could be physically seen only to be told I would have to transport my heavily due dog into the car and travel 30mins to Thornton driving passed Hambleton (5 mins journey) because Kate Jordan preferred working from Thornton!!!!! Again I left that surgery with no scan, no doppler or U/S just a pointless sweep & the impression that when it becomes a weekday it would then become an emergency! We Can’t have Moys not being able to coin in the out of hours appointment fees by tying themselves up with a lengthy caesarean can we!
Needless to say after being convinced it would be ok, it wasn’t a discharge causing a concern it turned out that the weekday surgery was too late to save the puppy’s to which a scan on the Saturday could’ve saved them! Vet Robert Cogswell then attempted to cover up for his colleagues with an alternative story as to why they had died. Whilst after the formal complaint, with advice from the Veterinary Client Mediation service, Head vet Tessa Jongejans objectionable response was to actually thank me for pointing out their failings and on reflection my dog should’ve been imaged but by way of atonement she would update training for this basic expected procedure! Please don’t use these unprincipled vets not only are they extortionately over priced, they’re unprofessional and untrained. They’re fuelled by making money and don’t have the best interest in your pet. I allowed them to convince me delaying was safe whilst all along they had ulterior motives.

Very caring vets. Said goodbye to my little girl Misty. Moys handle this with empathy and compassion.
