Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital

Great care shown to my old cat during a "quality of life assessment ", and to me.
Hope for a while with my animal yet.

A few months on, and today I took my beloved cat to Clockhouse for the final time. A candle was lit in reception to ask for quiet as there was an imminent loss, very beautiful. All the staff were incredibly kind and respectful, and, for me at least, my pet's passing in their caring hands was made as compassionate and peaceful as possible. Although I'm very sad, I take something very fulfilling from his death...I was given the option of donating his body to veterinary science, and I can believe that he will help one vet, one animal, one animal owner in the future. It is an option I would recommend, as a positive ripple from something deeply upsetting. Thank you so much to Clockhouse for such care and gentle respect. I'm adding the last picture taken at home...RIP my old friend.

I always feel confident about taking my dogs to the vets. The staff are always friendly and this puts me at ease and my dogs feel comfortable. They are always helpful and professional but very friendly at the same time. I have always used clockhouse veterinary over a number of years and have never had any complaints.

On occasions we found several members of staff unhelpful. some of vets were helpful and provided useful information some useless. The veterinary nurses however were often unable to provide answers to questions or unable to take weight/measurements. We had a problem dog that has cost massive money at clock house when a simple prescription of steroids Fixed everything, and give are dog a quality of life!

we have moved to a small local run one which i must say were shocked on all tests that were done and nothing resolved.

Clockhouse since selling to IVC aka the mafia of vets Have gone so far downhill it's really upsetting, and my guess is that why some of good vets have left

Having now transferred to a new vet practice I can see a difference in both the level of care and detail the new veterinary nurses go to, not only providing great care for our dog but they are also sympathetic in their responses. Giving clear detailed explanations to questions. Something that sadly we did not receive at Clockhouse. Overall, I would not recommend using Clockhouse. There are much better options out there. so please do look around !!!

Lovely staff, looked after my elderly cat when she had most of her teeth out recently!
Hannah is probably the nicest vet I've ever had dealings with. She was caring, informative & understanding.
Very reassuring to know my cat is being well looked after as she's my world. Definitely would recommend 😊

Used this vet for different pets for different reasons, and each time, we were warmly welcomed. The area is always clean and provided a space away from everyone the day we had to come and put one of the pets down. The waiting space is thoughtful of others and creates a chill space for waiting times. The reception staff are very helpful and very polite.

Very warm welcome by all at The Clockhouse. The Vets have the time to explain everything they are doing and give recommendations. Our 3 dogs were all made to feel at ease, even our stressy one. Thanks guys.

My 22 year old cat had a severe stroke last week and clockhouse said we could bring her down immediately. It was clear that my cat was dying. We were taken into a quiet room as soon as we arrived,away from everyone in the waiting room. A vet and nurse sat with us as my cat died in my arms. They were very compassionate, gentle and caring. They were calm and supportive in a time of great distress. Thankyou.

All personnel at Clockhouse are wonderful. Full of compassion when my little girl (cat) sadly died, and put my 2 new boys (cats) at ease for vaccinations and neutering. Brilliant all-round service, and the staff all remember their furry (and not so furry) clients.
