Mount Vets | Small Animal Hospital

Our dog was taken to the Vets as he was limping very badly and we were concerned. The staff at the practice were friendly and polite. The Vet (Chris) was absolutely great, he examined our dog thoroughly and treated him in a very caring manner. The problem and the steps necessary for his recovery were explained clearly and we are glad to say that he is now back to normal.
A big thank you to the staff especially Chris for his understanding and the warm and friendly way he treated our dog.

Outstanding veterinary care, very kind staff, firm but humane handling of animals. Recently took in two tricky animals - a nervous Doberman and a very wild feral kitten - and the vets handled both brilliantly. The practice is well maintained, the reception and hospital staff very easy to talk to and they listen.

We have twice used Mount vets out of hours, as this is our usual practices out of hours service. Both times we have been treated so well and were really impressed. The first time was just to pick up some medication to treat an allergic reaction - the vet we spoke to and the nurse we saw were very helpful and kind. The second time we had to use the service our dog was very unwell. Once we arrived, we were seen very quickly, the vet was professional, kind and gentle. She was put to the top of the list and investigations started immediately. We were kept informed of progress and treatment, and after 24 hours as an inpatient came home a different dog!
Highly recommend this surgery and everyone I have spoken to also has positive things to say about it.

Lilith, our English Bull Terrier cross developed a sudden lump on her head, after a day or so, it began to leak, but did not reduce in size, the swelling spreading to her eye, we made an appointment, and Lilith was seen by Julia Fryczewska, a wonderful and caring vet. We were extremely worried about Lilith, but Julia put us at ease with her proffesionalism and sympathetic approach, deciding on a course of action and performing an operation to rid Lilith of the abscess immediately, the resulting scar and hole was gruesome, but three weeks of care later, Lilith is free of the cone of shame and back to her normal self. Thank you Julia, and thank you Mount Vets. Outstanding service and care.

I had concerns over my dogs health after he had been at a “home from home” whilst I went on holiday. Pulled in on way home with no appointment and explained my concerns. Within 2 minutes Vet Chris was out at my car with my dog and had him in and being treated within minutes. Would not use any other vets other than these.

Our little fluff ball has been given a completely new lease of life, she's happy again, full of energy and back to her old self after having her eye operation, she is already adapting well to life with one eye but this wouldn't have happened without these amazing professional caring people that made it all possible, I cant thank them enough for what they have done for our hamster and family.

Since our cat suffered major injuries from a road accident, we have needed to be in and out of the vets for 2 surgical procedures and several minor complications. We have been seen at short notice, and always been kept well informed whilst our cat has been kept under observation. We are very relieved to have agreat service, with lovely people, so close at hand.

Took my new 9 week old kitten for his first check up and jabs. Mount vets was recommended to me by a few locals and I was very impressed. Clean, airy and modern building with great separate seating areas for dogs and cats and a lovely team of people.
