Lady had two fine needle asperations for a couple of lumps, results came back very quickly. Can't fault these ppl, been with them forever and they've never let any if our dogs down.
Nothing is too much trouble. We do have local vet but I'd rather travel further for Thompson's because yes they are that good.

This practice are so friendly and always very helpful. Used these 25 years ago with my 2 shih tzu's and now using again with Max our puppy. Its nice to see the service is just as good as before..Been back using them for 6months and very happy with them, wouldnt go anywhere else

Took my cats here, first impression was the horrendous smell, there was urine all over the reception floor. The surgery is tired and absolutely filthy. I can’t believe how dirty it is. 15 mins late they call me in to a room. Again I can’t believe how dirty it is. The rooms are not been cleaned between appointments. There was syringes all over the side from the last animal and urine all over the floor. By this point I had already made my mind up I WOULD NOT be returning. I feel the vet could have been more thorough. I had to ask for her to check his teeth 2 times. When we had done we went to reception to pay. Took 15 min for them to sort out the payment. I asked to pay and Fiona responded with “im busy and I have someone on hold” I had been stood there 15 minutes. Worse vets experience. Already registered with another vet after walking out. I would never let any animal have treatment is such a dirty place. Stay clear.

The most caring vet practice I have ever been to.
The way they are with pets and owners is fantastic. Last week my 6 month old GSD passed. The compassion I was show is way above 'normal' vets.
Thank you Thompsons

I had to take my beautiful 15 year old Dog Winston to be put to rest. It was the hardest thing I've ever done and I was so scared to do it but everyone from arrive to leaving made it as kind and caring as it could have been. I am so grateful to all of them for helping me through something so difficult. Thank you

On Tuesday 8th June our chocolate labrador Rosey passed away peacefully at Thompson surgery. There are no words that can express our gratitude to the staff team especially Michelle, Anke, Mandy, Hannah and Jessica who were there for us and supported us with understanding and compassion. We would personally like to thank Michelle (vet) for supporting us with our wishes for Rosey's end of life care. Rosey was a lovable and loyal friend to everyone who knew her.
We highly recommend Thompson veterinary service to other pet owners and hopefully one day in the future we will be visiting again.
