Medivet Burton-on-Trent

Absolutely brilliant experience with the team at Medivet. They took the best care of our Guinea pig who has now made a full recovery thanks to this. Very reasonably priced for the service. I couldn’t recommend them enough!

I recently had to do what every pet owner dreads, saying goodbye to my best friend. From the moment I called and explained what was happening until today when I collected his ashes, the staff were absolutely exceptional. Considerate, kind, caring, supportive, and respectful of both me and my dog. At no point was worried, I knew my dog would be treated with respect, I chose to have him cremated which they handled from start to finish. On the day they took a paw print and some fur for sentimental purposes, they further directed me towards other businesses that could do something special with these items. I then a week later received an unexpected letter, it was medivet sending a handwritten card with some forget me not seeds. On the day I collected his ashes I was only expecting the box I'd chosen but it was presented beautifully in a box with another sentimental card. If this isn't going above and beyond then I don't know what is, I didn't ask for everything they have done they did it because they care. Not that this was a concern of mine but regardless I want to make it clear that their prices were also exceptional especially considering all of the extra effort they put in. Overall, I'm so happy I have been using this vets previously Jamie Winston my whole life and I think this has been the best experience to date. Both my cat and dog are registered at Medivet Burton and they have both received excellent care. My Chihuahua has had spaying surgery. Cara is an amazing veterinarian -the surgery and the follow up care have been to the highest standard. I live in a village outside Burton and would recommend this vet practice. The vet practice has been taken over since January 2022 -one of the veterinary surgeons specialises in cardiology so you have specialised care. All the team are really helpful at Medivet and so caring. Can’t thank you enough.

Big thanks to your kind Vet for looking after Daisy our beagle when we brought her in recently for a check on her ears and stomach. She was so kind and patient with us, suggesting a few routes we could take. We really appreciate it, thank you :)

Truly wonderful team of girls. A special thankyou to Emma and Nikki for everything thay have done to help us getting out baby boy back on his feet. And he won Brave heart award. Used many vets over years with different pets. This surgery is by far the best. Such a warm,caring,friendly practice with wonderful staff. Highly recommend.

Absolutely amazing and caring staff and service. I contacted them in a panic on the first day of our narrowboat holiday close by. Our dog had developed a severe limp and I was very worried. They booked us in so quickly and without any fuss at all. The reception and vet staff were all equally as friendly and caring. The vet in particular (Emma) was fantastic. So compassionate and professional, and really got to the root of our dogs problem very quickly. We are happy to say he is greatly improved - thanks to her expertise! We really wish we lived local enough to have her as our full time vet!

Having been a serviceman for many years I've used vets nationwide.i would say without fail the staff,vets and whole team are superb caring,friendly,helpful they could not do enough for me or my pet.the effort the vet put into finding the best possible solution for my animal was amazing.not just a quick glance,take your money and out.the lady spent ages looking for the best option.and the staff are happy,friendly and all pet owners who know how it feels when you pets ill.i can not speak highly enough.

We followed our amazing vet here when she moved just before Christmas. The whole practice is so friendly and caring they couldn’t have done more to help and make sure everything was as we needed A very professional team
