Excellent veterinary practitioners from from the receptionists, veterinary nurse to the veterinary surgeons themselves. I am confident and trust them in their care of my dogs and any animal brought to their practice

Before leaving a review I did give Cambrian vets a chance to explain their actions. I don't usually use this vets but due to our usual vet being unavailable I took her here. Our gerbil had a respiratory infection (after a change in sawdust that was not dust extracted as the label said), after her being assessed I was advised this was uncommon in gerbils (which in inaccurate) and advised she was lame in the left leg, and they requested 2 x-rays at £76 each and it was suggested something could be stuck in her airway. It seemed unusual to me to give a 3 year old gerbil anaesthetic and x-rays rather than antibiotics and anti-inflammatories/painkillers when all her symptoms matched a respiratory infection. I pushed for these and there were given instead. Once home with the medication I noticed there was no instruction of how long to give her this medication for, the amount of medication I was given was more than enough for months. Due to my experience with gerbils, I called my usual vets who was happy to go through it with me, confirmed her clicking noise matched a respiratory infection and confirmed the dose, and duration to give her the medication. I also can confirm she was not lame in any leg at all and was running about using all limbs and completely able to weight bear. I find it very unfortunate that it seems the vets were more interested in the highest costing treatment. The response from the vets did not answer the multiple points I made and the most important point that medication was given without full instructions that proved fatal. I am very disappointed and will no be using Cambrian again.

Kindest people who really care about the animals in their care and for the welfare of the owners too.
