Tawe Veterinary Group - Gorseinon

I take my two dogs here. The receptionist and the vets are really friendly. Always welcome you with a smile. Really good veterinary practice. Would reccomend them to any responsible pet owner.

I have used Tawe vets since 2007 and I have only ever experienced very good care to my animals. I normally use the Sketty Branch, but recently have started using the Gorseinon branch which I find much easier, especially to park. I have 3 dogs and a cat, and the vets treat them and talk to them as if they are their own. They answer my endless questions and go above and beyond to make sure my dogs & cat are comfortable and calm before doing anything to them.
I cannot fault The Tawe teams from both branches.

The most uncaring lot of people you can ever meet, they don't care about animals all they care is pounds and plenty of it, be very careful they will try and charge you for the same treatment over and over again.

A good experience, Caitlin was very knowledgable and able to help and put my mind at rest. Cat is much better now.

Rang Tawe Vets, as have used before. a number of years ago, but, have just moved back to Swansea, so knew where they were and had always had good experiences, as I have a new puppy which needed 2nd jabs. Was told not taking on anymore clients, unless already have a pet with them. Was told to ring back in a few weeks, but, I then asked could I put off the puppy having a second jab till then, or what to do, was told , no, I'd have to go to another vets, but, I could then go back to them after!!. Bit odd. If you find a vet ,not likely to go back to someone who wouldnt help. However, went to another vet close by and they were great, from the telephone enquiry, to taking the pup, lovely vet, so will stay with them. So Tawe have lost business, not a good way to run a business.i understand that at present it's difficult with covid, but, was not helpful on the phone, maybe I caught them on a bad day.

Unable to go here as there was only one vet on so had to go to Sketty which is annoying as I live 5 minutes away from Gorseinon which is why I registered with them. (I wasn't able to finish this review due to internet issues so I need to add the following.)
I appreciate the difficulties that we are all living in at the moment, appreciate that they did everything they could to get a vet to see Minnie within the hour, which I was extremely grateful for and was lucky enough to get a lift there and couldn't fault the care and support we were given.
