I have been using this Vet practice for many years and I would not go anywhere else. Receptionist very polite and welcoming. Reception always clean and tidy with no smells. All vets very professional and caring. 5 stars just are not enough

I can’t thank the vets, nurses and receptionists at straitons enough for the care we received when we sadly had to have our beautiful lab Rosie put to sleep unexpectedly at the age of only 5. The understanding, empathy and compassion that was shown to us made an awful situation slightly more bearable and we felt like Rosie was in the best hands the whole way through her journey. Not only did they approach this very upsetting situation with care and sensitivity, they also sent us a card a few weeks after to show they were thinking about us. I couldn’t recommend this practice enough if you are looking for not only professionals but people who genuinely love and care for our animals/pets as much as we do!

We have to go monthly due to my dog having addison’s disease. Every month all the staff are lovely and efficient with getting us in and out whilst still receiving good care. Due to my dogs condition she is very anxious, and the vets, nurses, and receptionists are all so good at making sure she feels comfortable and doesn’t panic. Would not go to any other vets.

The team here are very friendly and very helpful , they understand your situation and are willing to do whatever they can , thank you very much for everything you have done for us

We use the Penkridge office to look after a small flock of sheep,
They are always very helpful and professional.
Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The vets are all very knowledgable and I feel that I can trust them completely with my animals. They look after both our dogs and horses. My one dog nearly died earlier this year with a sudden blood disorder. Thanks to Ben one of the vets spotting the signs of this she went through several months of treatment and blood transfusion and has now recovered. If you are looking for a vets that you can trust with your animals then I would recommend Straitons.

Refused my dog an appointment because I took her elsewhere during an emergency. I had used this vets many times before until the uncaring vet was happy to leave my dog in pain (even though appointments were available) Obviously does not have the animals best interest at heart! Avoid.
