I often watch Remembrance day on TV so this War Memorial is very special as it is the first one I have attended in memory of gallant war veterans and many unsung heroes who fought in the 2 World Wars for the nation.
I attended the Remembrance Monday and Sunday Services here in November 2019 and they made me think of war veterans like Denis who fought in the Gurkha Wars and helped brought peace in our Western nations.
This is a special place to remember the millions who were brave and victorious.
In these current times, we should remember the brave men and women who are doing their utmost to save lives.
Now with the current Lock down nationwide, it is advisable to stay at home except for a brief jog - there is greenery nearby.
