Excellent product. We used the osmo Polyx-Oil on our pine floorboards. The application was simple and because we used the rapid oil we manged to get two coats down and dried within a day. We used the clear satin oil as we wanted a natural looking finish and we were thrilled with the results. We have a great looking floor thanks to osmo. It's delivered character to our flooring and brought back a bit more tradition to our 130-year-old house. We would highly recommend this product!

Extremely poor customer instructions and customer service.

Let me just state that I'm a handy guy who does all my own home improvements. I have (luckily) never had a seriously bad experience with a product - until now (this is my first negative review with google). The customer service employee that I spoke to i Osmo was so rude that I feel compelled to write this.

I followed Osmo's instructions when applying my Osmo oil. The oil ended up drying very blotchy. I sanded the whole floor again and applied the oil once more. This time with a different technique given in their PDF document on their site (using a roller and cloth). This time everything was extremely streaky. Im now about to sand my floor for a 3rd time. I spoke to a young customer support guy this morning (9.30am 13/03/19) and he blamed these problems on me and my lack of 'basic' wooden flooring oiling knowledge. This is despite me following the (limited) instructions given on their website and PDF. He was extremely condescending and rude for the entirety of the phone call despite me having very legitimate problems (albeit I probably came across as very frustrated).

It takes a lot for me to leave a negative review but I am 100% sure that this one is warranted. I feel like I've wasted 5 days of my holiday on a floor thats in even worse shape than it was before I started. I would avoid Osmo and their products as the documentation is very poor (even misleading) and their customer service employees are condescending and rude.

I am professional decorator with over 35 years experiance and have to say that the customers service/ technical assistance of this company is non-existent. I have tried to contact their technical dept on several times over the years and have never even had my call answered. I don't think their technical department actually exists. In my experiance you will never get a technical question answered.

Spoke to Craig in Customer support about what product would be best for my cedar greenhouse and coldframe.He spent some time talking through the options and the approach required with each.Agreed it would be best to test some samples which arrived the very next day despite the Covid crisis.
Could not have received better customer servcie.

I am finding the products expensive. I am not sure they deliver so much better than any other product. I could have bought alot more of a similar product for £50 less in the local hardware store. Anyway I guess the proof is in the pudding if my fence lasts long I ll know its been worth the labour cost and oil and if the fungicidal treatment works...and it stays off for 2-4 years I know exactly how much we got in 4 years as I had to scrub it off. I will report back later. I used 701 and Gard thus far but learnt 701 is not uv proof so may need a 3rd coat with uv protection...

Horrible product, don’t waste your time!
I apply osmo top oil to my kitchen worktop for last 3 years once or twice in a year and protection doesn’t last more than a few months only.
