Goldsmiths

After having a negative customer service experience from a Norwich based independent jewelers I decided to give Goldsmith's a try instead, and they couldn't have been better to be honest. As much as I like to support local independent businesses, when it comes to buying and servicing watches I will be using Goldsmith's Norwich from now on.

My father in law went in and was looked after by Laura. Laura was really attentive and helps both pick out the perfect watches.

The shop is tired and there is little stock - as per many shops you are told they can order it in for collection or deliver to your house. Both things I can do for myself. Makes me wonder what the point of a shop is.

Polite and efficient staff, good security over item left with them. Service completed as detailed and on time.

Shocking customer service skills. Incompetent staff. I visited the store on the 14th of July as I needed my engagement ring to be resized. They told me that it would take 2 weeks to which I agreed. When I visited the store after 2 weeks had gone by, a member of staff told me that their workshops had shut and they had to take my ring somewhere else and that it would take another 2 weeks, to which I fairly replied :did you not think you should make me aware or the situation? Silence...
2 weeks later they sent me an email that while the ring was travelling about the main stone had become lose (they couldn't even spell loose right!). That meant that the ring wouldn't be fixed until the 21st of September. Shocking! 2 months for just a simple procedure!
Clearly I rang and asked them to bring me my ring back as I didn't trust they could fix it! Avoid them!

The service at Goldsmiths Norwich was excellent - the store however, was not as plush as some I have been to and it does not carry as much stock as others.

My fiance and I had the very best experience when buying our wedding rings yesterday, we were so well looked after by Sara as well as a great, friendly welcome by other members of the shop.

We had our dog with us, we were nervous of going in, they were so kind and friendly to the dog, it just made the whole experience so much better, no pushy sales people, just warm, kind people, best jewellery shop we went to, thankyou.
