Went to a 30th party there and it was so amazing that we booked it for a hen party and a friend booked their wedding at Barolin! We were blown away by the attention to detail from the wedding coordinator there and the way she made the bride’s vision come to life; I can’t believe it was the same venue!! Big beautiful house, stunning walled gardens and a truly wonderful team 😊

Firstly, a massive thank you to Hannah and Belinda!!!! Barolin Farm was the only wedding venue we looked at, because we quite simply fell in love with EVERYTHING about it! As you walk into the garden, you are instantly enchanted by the beautiful trees, garden and house that greet you, it reminded me of The Secret Garden. The marquee is ginormous but doesn't feel too big at all, with a fantastic dancefloor and stage, beautiful, tasteful and delicate fairy lights in the roof add a lovely soft evening light. The house itself is gorgeous! A real home from home and Belinda and Hannah go out of their way for you tl feel like that!! The bedrooms are all tastefully decorated and to say how old the house is - the showers are very powerful!! Hannah and Belinda are two of the kindest people you could meet! Hannah was never daunted by my endless questions and helped me bring my vision to life!! Nothing was too much and we were allowed to visit before our wedding as often as we liked! Hannah and Belinda went above and beyond in allowing our beloved labrador to stay and even had someone kindly walk him and feed him through out the day! Thank you!! On the day of our wedding, Frankie and her two friends very kindly coordinated everything and our day ran seamlessly - even an unexpected but small downpour during our outside ceremony was handled superbly!! Stayed for a week with extended family to celebrate Christmas. House was very comfortable. Plenty of room for our 20 guests (we also had a chalet). We all ate together in the dining room and the kitchen was very well equipped. Belinda was extremely helpful, always available if needed but also kept her distance. Secure garden for the dogs. Just a brilliant stay. Highly recommended.

We were lucky enough to spend a long weekend & host our wedding at Barolin and had an amazing time! The house was clean, had everything we needed & was homely despite its size! It’s got all the charm you’d want from an old country house and all the quirks you’d expect. The owner Belinda and her daughter were available for everything we needed but left us to our own devices and didn’t interfere at all. We can’t wait to visit again!

My husband and I got married in Harrogate on 2nd July and had our wedding party at Barolin. We stayed from the Thursday to the Sunday and had our reception on the Friday. It was beautiful, the house is fully equipped for all your needs and the large house meant our close family and friends were able to stay and join in on our weekend. As soon as we saw Barolin, we knew it was the place we wanted to spend our day! We highly recommend for a wedding and also for a get together with your loved ones. Belinda and Hannah were super helpful throughout and accommodating of our guests, thank you!!!

We stumbled upon Barolin farm on a walk just after getting engaged. I fell in love with the beautiful, rustic buildings and the gorgeous countryside, rolling hills, trees and greenery everywhere you can see.
Being from Yorkshire it felt like just the right location, and I got in touch with Hannah straight away. I explained my total ignorance of all things wedding and she couldn’t have been more helpful in the process, arranging meetings with local caterers, car companies, make-up artists and so much more. She was super friendly and a lot of fun to organise and hang out with, and so something which I thought would be stressful turned out to be a bit of a breeze.
It’s a massive cliche but our wedding day was the best of my life. The whole bridal party was able to stay in the incredible and historical farmhouse itself and walk straight out into the beautiful walled garden for our reception where we ate, drank, laughed and danced the night away. The best thing was being able to relax and enjoy that unique setting knowing everything was in hand and Hannah made sure it really was our day. Thank you so much!
