Dunwell Farm

The barn is amazing. But we had to walk up a grass hill in the rain to wait in a marquee whilst the owners and workers were getting the bbq food ready and tables set up. Then come back down in the rain to eat.

Managed to get a last minute booking to camp in the most peaceful campsite around, sun set over the hill whilst the fire pit kept me warm. Clean and well maintained campsite and shower block.

You could write a book on how good this place is to host a wedding! If you are looking for a country wedding then forget everywhere else, Dunwell Farm is the one! Based on an actual working farm you can chose however you want the place, barn style wedding, marquee in a field or both! We chose to use both and what a day it was. Pete and Libby couldn’t do more for us during the whole planning experience and then during the day they were there hand and foot trying to make the day the best experience they could! Their servers were smiling the whole day and couldn’t do enough for our guests. The bar staff were happy and drinks were cold! We stayed in the campsite along with more of our guests were there is a lovely shower block and kitchen you can use which was cleaned during the day and then also for the morning after. The transitions from the ceremony to breakfast to Dancefloor was seamless and our guests couldn’t get enough of how excellent the staff were whilst the transitions were going on. The whole day was made pretty much by Pete and Libby and their staff and we can’t thank them enough for everything they did. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

What an absolutely smashing venue!
Libby and Pete could not be any more friendly, helpful and professional. Many of us stayed overnight at their campsite, either in their own tents or in Dunwell's own bell-tents and the barn and marquee were perfect. The wedding would have been a happy event wherever it was held, but Dunwell Farm made the day perfect.
High praise, you might think, but richly deserved.

Toilets and showers the lock did not work right? We were told that we were allowed fires but we couldn't have them? No bins any where. No Toilets near the barn. Won't be going or advising at all such a shame but nice staff
