This was our third visit to Clawdd Offa but the first staying in the Farmhouse, having previously stayed next door in the barn. It never fails to deliver. The property is modern and refurbished to a high standard. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. The hot tub is a nice touch and makes for a great relaxing break. Local management are friendly and very helpful. We visited with our family, to celebrate three birthdays and had a full range of ages, from 10 to 70 years. This isn't a 'Centre Parks', so don't expect on-site activities, but that's what makes it such a nice getaway, just relaxing in the piece and quiet of the country. There's a small lake on site and some nice local walks. The village is a short drive or a medium'ish walk away. Not a big village but the basics are available (Spar, a takeaway etc.). The Millstone pub is located within the village and is a great place for a drink or a delicious meal. Jemoleys is a cafe also in the centre of the vilaage and offers a fantastic breakfast or lunch. I would highly recommend either the farmhouse or the barn and we will definately be returning soon.

Was doing a pamper party here for a hen weekend. Accommodation was very good but only saw downstairs.

We recently had our Glastonbury style wedding at Clawdd Offa and it was fantastic. We had the best day and all the different variations of accommodation for our family and friends from the beautiful quaint farmhouse and barn conversion, the glamping pods where my husband and I stayed to the more basic festihuts that were still perfect for the occasion. There was also room for camper and and caravans so something for everyone. The venue is stunning with a beautiful marquee, fitted with a permanent bar fand gorgeous toilets, a veranda over looking a large pond and the new pagoda for the ceremony. The staff are fantastic, friendly, helpful and couldn’t do enough for us with our jam packed festival program. It really was the absolute perfect day that my husband and I and all our guests will never forget. Thank you to all the amazing team but a big shout out to Jo who was our primary contact at Clawdd Offa, I was my own wedding planner but I couldn’t have done it without all the help I had from Jo and the team, Angus who ran the bar and catered to our very specific requests always with a friendly smile, and Roly from Ffres Catering who provided are absolutely gorgeous Greek inspired wedding breakfast. Clawdd Offa will be remembered with a very special place in our hearts forever and I would 100% recommend this venue for a wedding that’s a little bit different!

An absolutely gorgeous and unique wedding venue with the most incredibly hospitable team of dedicated staff! I was thrilled to be a wedding photographer here recently and cant wait to be back there in the future. If you are a couple questioning getting married here, don't hesitate. You will have the most incredible time!

fantastic setting, beautiful cottages.Catering provided by Ffres catering was second to none as were the bat staff and bar supplied by Aston Jones which had very reasonable prices and a good selection of drinks. However the cleanliness was very sadly lacking. We had to clean every where before we could use the place. The cottages were filthy the hot tub wasn't working and the lazy spa that was supplied had grass and flies. Marquee kitchen was greasy and we had to clean fridge out before we could use it and when this was discussed with Ben the owner there very little interest shown so won't be recommending this place for a wedding venue.

We held a Winter Ball for 140 Explorer Scouts from across North Wales… a perfect venue, who could not have been more accommodating of our needs… stunning marquee, excellent food and brilliant staff throughout the venue. Highly recommended and will certainly look to use the venue again
